The sun shone brightly above her head, as Ran walked down the sidewalk to the coffee shop on the corner. The streets were busy with people going about their lives in every direction she turned around.
Even from where they stood, at a distance of several blocks away, you could feel the warmth radiating off them. She took a sip out of her iced coffee as she headed to her university.
As she went she glanced up at the sky, admiring the bright blue and the fluffy clouds that floated lazily across it. After a few minutes, she finally reached her destination and made her way into her secret place where she would usually stay before the class starts, an empty room on the third floor.
It was only about half an hour before school started but there wasn't any other student in sight as far as the eye could see. She grabbed her drink and headed towards one of the tables by the window. It was usually pretty quiet around this place considering it's one of those empty classrooms on the same floor as the principal's office.
Ran opened her bag, pulled out a small sketchbook and opened it. She had been working on some comic series lately and now was the perfect opportunity for finishing it off.
She didn't want to leave anything to chance, especially considering how busy it would be later on. She quickly scrawled and scribbled down everything on the sketchbook.
It felt like hours had passed when in fact it only had been a few minutes when she finished sketching a few pages. Ran put the notebook down on the table and stretched her hands, planning on resuming her sketch when suddenly a loud shriek was heard causing her to whip her head toward the source of the sound.
A boy with curly grey hair stood by the door and a pair of green eyes froze in his place and the seat beside him was deranged. He froze in his spot and a sheepish smile plastered on his face, still looking at Ran.
Ran looked at her with raised brow before it furrowed when she somewhat recognized him.
"Aren't you that person from the cafe that spilled coffee on my work?" Ran asked, her voice was quiet but it held an accusatory tone. The grey haired boy didn't say anything and just moved his eyes away from Ran.
She sighed, he looked like a child caught stealing candy from their parent's pocket. She can't help but sigh again. He then turns his head back to her once again and nods while rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm sorry about that." He apologises meekly, still avoiding her sharp gaze. The boy stood could somewhat feel smaller than Ran despite being literally bigger and taller than the pink-haired girl.
The heavy atmosphere filled the whole room making the boy feel a bit uncomfortable, until the door of the room suddenly opened and in stepped Kyung-Mi with her cherry aura.
"Good morning, Ran." Kyung-Mi blinked with a wide smile plastered on her face before taking notice of the grey haired boy beside her.
"Oh, you're here already! That was quick." The brunette smiles, patting the grey haired boy's shoulder a couple times before walking toward her pink haired friend who looks clearly confused.
"What's happening? Do you guys know each other or something?" Ran ask with furrowed brows.
"About that... Tada~" Kyung-Mi smiled and pulled out a paper that was in between the pages of the book she was carrying and handed it to the pink hair.
Violet eyes scan the content of the paper and. Ran looks at Kyung Mi questioningly but her friend only gives her a smile. Ran let out a sigh and handed the paper back to the brunette.
"Fine. Do whatever you want." Was all Ran said before going back to sketching.
Kyung-Mi smiled at that and beckon for the grey haired boy to come closer and take a seat which he beside Ran with a seat apart before the brunette began her little orientation of joining art club while
