"So, you and the captain, ah…" Edric look at me with such oddity as the words stall in his mouth, his thumb pointing over his shoulders where Callum had gone off.
"Teasing each other." I blurt trying to tamper the giddiness riling on my belly and sounded nonchalant while fumbling the strings on my corset, although my face was already on fire.
What happened last night came back to my senses and how I literally begged him to touch me, and the tender moment of intimacy that we had just this morning. I was surprised to see him still in bed this morning. I thought he had gone off with the rest of the crew just like he's been doing for the last few days.
"Teasing, huh?" I simply chose to disregard Edric's condescending tone and smiled at him as I finally faced him fully dressed.
