Gasher caught sight of Sam through the window at night hurriedly, he jumped out of his room down the stairs, and trailed him. As Sam started the ignition of his car, Gasher waited for him to proceed before following him. As Sam zoomed off into the road, Gasher started the engine of the truck too and zoomed into the road too. The truck was slow but tried to meet up with the pace of Sam's car. The night was cold and calm, just perfect for the execution of his plan.
As he moved closer into the road, Sam's car stopped at the edge of the road. The street light was well lit at their spot so getting there was difficult so he had to stay at the spot that was not illuminated by the street light. I wasn't going to jeopardize the plan for a street light.
