"Sarah…" Adam started but then he paused.
He looked at Sarah and shrugged like he was at loss for words or he simply didn't know how to put his thoughts into words. After a minute of just staring at her, Sarah untangled her hand from his and fingered his flying wolf tattoo. Adam closed his eyes and mumbled something she couldn't comprehend and she stopped moving her fingers around the tattoo but didn't remove them from where they rested.
"What did you say?" Sarah asked him.
Adam opened his eyes and saw the surprise on Sarah's face. Without any confirmation from anyone, Adam knew that he was spotting the fire blue eyes again. These days, it was getting harder for him to keep his wolf under check whenever Sarah got close to him. Try as he may also, he found out that he couldn't stay away from Sarah anymore. He was growing more and more attached to her and he couldn't tell if it was the mating bond or he was completely in love with her.
