"Take care of it."
She said, before dashing toward Girium, who stood all alone in the streets.
And on that coat that the Boss dropped, Kale saw multiple bomb triggers hidden in its pocket.
He knew now that all his actions were under his bosses' watch.
As for why she hid all the time, he didn't know.
All he knows is that his boss was aware of everything till now. Then she will know his fears and act accordingly.
He wishes she does that.
Because if something bad were to happen now, he won't be able to live anymore.
*****
Girium smelled death the moment his eyes fell on the woman.
Short but brown hair, a violet shirt, and dark pants.
She looked more like an office lady than a boss of a gang.
But from her build and sharp eyes, Girium knows that this woman was no one ordinary.
What kind of ordinary woman covers a distance of a kilometer in just a blink of an eye.
From his perspective, she was faster than him. And this was before she used her artifact.
"You are the man I was hearing so much about?" Sia asked, her eyes burning with fire and her intent to battle Girium obvious at a single glance.
'A battle maniac'. Girium marked the woman as such.
He has met people like this before, one of which used to abuse him using the training as an excuse a lot.
But he didn't hate people like these. Because they were one of the purest nature people that Girium knew about.
Because their desires were always stamped on their face, just like the beautiful woman in front of him.
It would be a lie to say he wasn't surprised by the look of the boss. But this doesn't change a thing.
The moment she landed on the road, causing a crater and destroying the windows of the whole block. Girium was ready to fight.
"Hmm."
"Not one to talk to, eh?" She asked, her voice carrying the force that only a leader will hold.
"Are you truly here to destroy my baby or is that just an excuse?" She asked, also having suspicions over the goal of the man in front of her who didn't even flinch under her pressure.
"Take out your weapon!"
And that was the only answer Sia got. Much to her expectation...
His character was as she had heard about before.
"I like people that don't waste time." She said, knowing that a dialog was impossible against a man like Girium.
So she lifted her hand, which caused Girium to aim his spear toward her head.
This was going to be Girium's first fight against a human. And its result will set a path for his future or lack thereof.
The moment the fight began, Girium attempted to close his distance.
He found the pressure on his body increasing by a huge amount. Causing his balance to go all over the place and forcing him to stop mid-way on his jump, to stabilize his situation.
But the moment he came to a halt, a fist aimed at his head was thrown towards him. And with his forward momentum, he knew that the damage from this punch would be enormous. So he used his spear to shield himself from the damage. And failing.
His balance was off, and the environment he found himself in was not something he was used to.
So with that single punch, she threw Girium into her gang's HQ, which destroyed many walls due to collision.
"*Cough" Girium spat some blood out, before calming his breath.
"Gravity…" He understood the ability this woman possessed, she was able to obtain an artifact capable of controlling gravity and his body was currently under its effect.
'4…. No, it's around 5 times the usual gravity.' Girium calculated and used the down opportunity to get used to the new situation he found himself in.
'The God Construct is in the form of leather gloves. But the attack was not done using that as a base, she only used gravity to restrict my movements.'
'She is taking me lightly, I can use it to an advantage.'
Girium was not stupid in any fight, he will use everything to his advantage and won't shy away from taking advantage of the mercy his opponents will show him.
Neither will he drop his guard down.
A person is fickle in their actions and he will never know when the other person starts to take him seriously.
On the other side, Sia who had just punched Girium through the field looked at her fist, specifically her gloves.
They were dark brown and looked inconspicuous on the surface. But they were one of the strongest God Constructs in the world.
And now this weapon of god which has remained new now had a small mark left on it.
Much to Sia's surprise.
"A sub-leader has claimed that man has destroyed a god construct." Risa's words echoed in her mind.
Words that she has ignored as empty air before.
But looking at the proof before her eyes, she knew that the events mentioned in the report were 100% true.
And now, this man was after her.
A weird man with a weird goal. Attaining so much strength even without possessing a God Construct of his own.
"You… Join me." She suggested, feeling that this man might be useful to her.
But Girium said nothing and under the increasing pressure on his body, he soon adapted to it. Even if it became harder to execute his strength to the fullest. He was still capable as a fighter. He was a genius who had broken the limits of the human body and achieved the strength that none were able to on his merit.
This much pressure was nothing to him. He was able to adapt to it fast after learning the ability of Sia.
"I can't." He said as he jumped from his point and struck his spear towards Sia's head.
If he didn't think wrong, it was common for one to either dodge or use their hands as shields to protect their head.
And Girium wished that Sia chose the second option.
But knowing her speed, the chance of dodging was higher.
So when she eventually met his strike which was taking advantage of his increased gravity to strike harder with the second choice Girium thought of, he was surprised, to say the least.
The shockwave of which caused a new crater to be formed on the ground, shattering the roads a lot more than before.
"Man… you are strong for a human." She said, not a bit impacted by Girium's strength.
"You are a human too," Girium said, for the first time replying properly, only to retort.
He hated the fact that some of these artifact users stopped considering themselves human. They thought of themselves as someone greater. While looking down on those weaker than themselves.
They would even treat their own family like insects. And from Sia's words, it seemed she was the same.
Much to his disappointment.
He thought she was a great person for bringing prosperity to this poor neighborhood. But she seemed to consider herself as something greater than a human.
So in anger and disappointment, he released the grip of his right arm and used it to punch at Sia's stomach.
An underhanded move, but this was not competition, this was a real fight and anything can happen.
But Sia was not as weak as Girium, easily facing the impact of his punch stomach. Only a bit of blood fell out of her mouth.
But Girium was not over yet, Using his feet. He pushed forward and crashed Sia's along with himself into the empty homes that surrounded them.
In his mind, the only thought was to not let her think.
His punches stuck her stomach, quaking at the impact. His arms were getting numb. But he didn't stop.
Wall after wall, home after home. Sometimes in a bedroom and sometimes in the living room, their bodies kept going through countless houses before after having enough of it the weight on Girium's body decreased exponentially causing him to lose balance once again.
Before Sia in anger threw his lightened body out of the home.
"This bastard." She was surprised by the tenacity of Girium.
A man with no God Construct was able to fight so well against her. He was an enigma, an error that shouldn't have existed in the world.
But he was in front of her and focused on a single goal. An absurd goal.
On the other hand, Girium, whose body has gotten lighter, saw that without the force of gravity, his punches became lighter, and his stabs with his spear became weaker.
His body, albeit still strong, was easily manhandled by Sia. Wracking him with injuries in the process.
'Can't let this go on.'
Girium found that he was being treated as a plaything by this woman.
She was not as crazy about fighting as he had expected her to be. But a lot calmer and knowing the right amount of force that would suppress Girium.
'I can't go on like this… three strikes won't be enough.' Girium thought, knowing that he can't go on for long anymore. His injuries were heavy and the constant change in gravity along with Sia's attacks was taking a toll on his body.
'Think.' GIirum said to himself, knowing that he was not good at using the spear in actual fights. So he abandoned it.
'Think more.' Girum, while facing the changes in gravity where the intensity of Sia's punches along with the force in them increased as she increased her weight, was barely able to defend his body under the constant barrage of gravity and fists that were as heavy as a mountain.
The whole area around Bear Bastard's headquarters was already leveled due to the fight. WIth blood of Girium spread through the area.
