"I SAID STAND!" the ring master screamed cracking his whip into the air. The two men started to lunge, but the beast reacted to quickly causing the men to jump back. The young girl was gone. A large dirty mangy werewolf stood in her place. Saliva dripped from the huge fangs of the creature as it stood panting.
"Good dog!" the ring master shouted. "Now speak!" he cracked his whip and the beast howled. "Yes, more!" he cracked whip again and the beast howled again drawing it out as the crowd clapped. One of the four men kneeling by the cage walls stood and tossed a 2x4 at the werewolf. "Show them your strength!" the ring master yelled. the wolf picked up the half rotten chunk of wood in its teeth and broke through it. The crowd roared.
more items, from whole pumpkins, to metal bars were tossed to the wolf to show her strength. she demolished the pumpkins, bent the bars, and howled while the crowd roared.
a flash went of in the crowd causing the wolf to roar and pull at its chains. the reinforced slats of the floor cracked and threatened to break away. "NO!" Shouted the ring master, as one of the entrance guards reached the individual who dared take a picture, he crushed the camera in his hand pulled the spectator from his seat and escorted him out. The two men jabbed the wolf with the prods while the other four men quickly lifted the walls and the top of the cage was quickly reconnected. A large sheet was draped over the cage as the roars and howls of the wolf turned into the tormented screams of a teenage girl.
"Ladies and Gentleman, unfortunately that concludes this evenings act. Apologies for the abrupt ending, as you can see breaking my rules causes chaos, which we cannot have with such a dangerous beast." The ringmaster paused and took a breath to steady his nerves. " for the remainder of our time left, i give you Lady Esmerelda, and her dancing snakes!" The crowd cheered as a beautiful dark haired woman stepped into the arena, the horses followed behind and Esmerelda patiently waited as the cage was loaded and removed from the arena. Esmerelda tried not to notice to quiet crying of the child within the cage. She raised her hands in the air as a giant Boa Constrictor slithered its way up her body. Wrapping itself around her and squeezing ever so gently. Esmerelda trusted her snakes with her life. It was all for the show, and the show must go on.
In the smaller tent the horses came to a stop and the men unloaded the beasts cage. Removing the sheet and inspecting the floor as they lowered it to the dirt ground.
"Damnit! We just replaced the floor. we'll need more reinforcing Dimitri." The ring master said to the largest of the men who nodded and said, "I'll get started right away. it will take a few days, but as long as she doesnt change again, this cage'll do."
The ring master slammed the end of his whip agains the steel bars and hissed "Damn you monster. I should have you beaten."
"you are welcome to try, why dont you send in bart again?" The girl spoke quietly. her voice shook with pain and rage. "Oh wait. He's dead." She laughed softly and the ring master grabbed a prod from one of the men and jabbed her with it. She screamed and gripped the wooden slats of her cage floor welcoming the pain. Pain was all she knew, a d she welcomed the darkness it brought.
