"What are you doing? Don't do that!" he said panicking while trying to figure out what he'd said that may have just given him away. "I am not who you think I am," he said uneasily backing up a step and looking around to see if there were other witnesses to this truly, horrifically embarrassing moment.
"There is no one else you could be."
"Ah, I'm sure there are plenty…"
"It's ingenious, and awe-inspiring; yet so dangerous." the man breathed looking up at him like he was a gift from the spirits themselves. It made him very uncomfortable.
"Ah… I have no idea what you mean, but I should probably get going…"
"You are both the Missing prince and his aid the voice of the people," the man whispered reverently. "I am honored to be in your presence." he spoke into the grass as he continued to bow so low he could be getting grass up his nose.
