Chapter 5 - Chapter 4 : Blood Hill Wilderness

After seeing the title I had a gloomy face. What's the meaning of having a great family if you are expelled from it? I can't take any advantage of having an S grade family. But I guess they did it to balance the game fairness.

After thinking about it for some time I went to check the quest that I got. I opened the quest tab by shouting quest tab. There was a quest description floating in front of me.

[Tutorial Quest]

[Familiarize yourself]

Every player in this game gets a family and story set up. Familiarize yourself into the game set up and understand yourself.

Difficulty: F

Reward: Unlock the next tutorial quest, +50 bronze coins, +10 reputations, +100 experienced points, and 1 beginner weapon.

Hmm, but how should I get familiarized with the game set up? It's not like there is someone I can ask.

Not being able to find any way, I sat down and got a few books from the shelf. There should be some information in the books. After reading for some time I got to know that I am currently in a kingdom called the Amorite Kingdom. The ancestor of the royal family of the Amorite kingdom was a really high level knight who fought against the empire to establish the Amorite Kingdom. There were many tales of him in the history book, but I got bored so I took another book instead.

After several hours of reading, I got to know many things and got clues to the most important thing for me now. It is how to change your class. What I learned is you can change your class to many other different classes that weren't even in the starter class by going to the organization or place that's affiliated with the class. Such as if you want to be a priest or paladin you have to go to church to worship their god and get your class from the church father. If you want to get the knight class you have to join the military.

So if I want to get a necromancer class I have to somehow find the evil organization related to it. I got excited after realizing I can get the class I want maybe sooner than I thought.

While I was excited and thinking about how to find the organization that can give me my necromancer class, there was a knock on the door.

Someone shouted from outside, "Master, are you awake? You haven't eaten anything yet. Should I prepare lunch for you?"

I was startled for a moment, then called her to come inside.

She seemed to be in her twenties. She had distinct features: yellow hair, and innocent eyes. She wore a blue dress. She appeared to be a worker in this mansion.

She bowed and asked, "Does the master need anything else?"

"Do you know who I am?" I asked her.

She tilted her head in confusion but still replied, "Yes, this maid is aware of the master's identity. Master Louis is the grandson of the president."

"Tell me more about what you know about me!" I asked her enthusiastically. Finally, I can ask someone what I want to know.

She told me about everything she knew. She was hesitant to talk about many things but in the end, I forced her to spit out everything. After I heard everything my complexion was dark. How could this be….!

She told me that I am the 4th grandson of Galdor Carey, also known as the Gold King or Merchant King. He built a trading company named Gold Merchant Company, which now became one of the most influential organizations. But I am an arrogant bastard son who only knows to use family wealth to drink and drown with women. And recently I harassed a daughter of an influential family as a result, I got expelled from the family.

Sigh Louis in this game what are you doing? Even though I got one of the richest families, the dev made it so that I can't use family advantage. Whatever it is, what it is.

Suddenly a sound rang out and a notification popped up.

[2nd Tutorial Quest]

[First Trade]

As a merchant, you should do trades and think about profits. Do your first trade and gain profits.

Reward: +10 reputation, +300 experience points

So I got the 2nd tutorial quest? Anyway, I walked to the balcony and watched the scenery in front of me. It's really a good view from this balcony. The tutorial quests aren't so important for me. I want to change my class as soon as possible.

After pondering for a while I walked outside the room. There live 2 maids and 1 old man in this small mansion who takes care of it. I walked down the stairs and told the yellow haired maid from before that I was going outside.

I walked on the streets for a few hours checking shops and items. I was shocked and happy to know that the world view, items, system, and the foundation of this game are really similar to Fantasia. If so I can use my knowledge from Fantasia to stay ahead of everyone else.

After walking around the town for a while I have come to a bar. I sat on the table in front of the shop owner. I asked the shopkeeper to give me a glass of beer. When he brought me the beer I asked,

"Sir, can you tell me where I can buy information?"

He glanced at me for a second and said,

"Brothels usually sell all kinds of information. You can go there if you want to buy information?"

"Is there any other authentic informant?"

Suddenly the shopkeeper grinned and said, "If you want to know about this you have this instead." He made a money sign with his hand.

I took out 2 gold coins and placed them on the table. I guessed it would be an appropriate price. Gold coins are scarce after all. 1 gold coin is equivalent to 100 dollars. And somehow I have over 6000 f*cking coins from the start. But when I tried to convert, conversion was actually not possible. And it seems these coins are quest related items and their uses are limited.

The shopkeeper silently kept the coins and said, "There is a quiet wine shop in the downtown. The bartender there sells really authentic information. But the Fluorescent brothel also sells quite authentic information."

I nodded and the shopkeeper walked away. I enjoyed the beer. It actually tastes like real life, almost like I am drinking in real life. Suddenly a crisp sound rang out and a notification popped up.

[3rd Tutorial Quest]

[Trading Company]

Create a trading company by getting approval from a noble of the town.

Reward: Trade company, +10 reputations, +600 experience points.

Wow, a small trade with the shopkeeper for some information was actually counted. Nice

After searching for a while I finally found the wine shop the bar shopkeeper was talking about. The wine shop was actually quite dark. But I walked forward and sat in front of the bartender's table. I placed a small bag with 20 gold coins and asked,

"Where can I find those who worship the darkness?" As the church seems to worship the light there should be people who worship the darkness. And if my guess is correct, necromancers should be related to dark and evil attributes.

The bartender shook the bag and said, "Not enough."

What 2000 dollars is not enough? How high is just a simple piece of information? Or is he charging more from me? Anyway, I added another 10 gold coins.

But the bartender still shook, "Not enough."

I gritted and added another 10 gold coins.

Finally, he spoke, "Deep in the Blood Hill wilderness, you will be able to find what you are searching for.

"Blood Hill Wilderness!"

[Remaining coins: 6242 gold coins and 50 bronze coins.]
