After Sirah had thrown her dagger straight at Druak she continued to do so for almost half an hour, which despite showing how impressive her mana reserves were also caused Druak to leap out of his bed as he didn't want to become a skewer.
Druak had managed to dodge the ice daggers and reach his door, escaping as quickly as he could… Even after throwing so many daggers, it seemed Sirah still had plenty of energy to spar, as he continued to chase Druak even through the academy corridors.
Despite being mercilessly chased by Sirah Druak seemed to have a smile on his face, it had been so long since he was able to do anything like this. All his past life was just constant running from dangers and getting money by almost any means necessary. Even after death, he had unknowingly been used for something he still didn't know about.
Druak believed that this was finally a chance for him to let go a little, and what better way than teasing Sirah, who made it so easy.
Finally reaching the training ground, the constant yell from Sirah had gotten the attention of other first-year students who had also got up early and decided to train. Despite the plans of these first years, seeing Druak be chased by Sirah had caused a few students to stop with their training and watch as Druak was chased around the arena, trying to avoid the ice dagger being thrown at him.
The mood within the training hall had lightened greatly from the serious atmosphere it once had, some students even laughed at the spectacle they were watching.
Realising he couldn't keep this up forever Druak thought of a plan, and after avoiding another ice blade Druak quickly put this plan to action. As he avoided yet another Ice dagger he slid across the ground, stopping his momentum.
Waving his hands in surrender he had managed to stop the onslaught of daggers."Stop. Stop. I promise I won't tease you again." Druak patiently watched to see what Sirahs reaction was, it was clear he was worried from the expression on his face.
'Come on work'
Still holding a dagger in her hand Sirah looked at Druak and said."You didn't hear anything I said. RIGHT!"
Druak nodded his head in agreement.
"Good, then we can leave it at that. Don't forget that if you make fun of me again I'll stab your eyes out." Sirah pointed her daggers towards Druak.
Putting his hands behind his back Druak said."I promise."
Despite what Sirah had said, it was clear that she was still annoyed at Druak. This however was perfect as he could now put his plan to work and kill two birds with one stone.
"I've been needing to train and learn more about my abilities and was wondering if you'd be interested in training with me." Even though Druak could train while being chased by Sirah it would be much harder to do so, and doing it this way also gave Druak the bonus of calming Sirah down without having to do too much.
Sirah lowered her dagger and it seemed that she was pleased with being offered to train with Druak as she soon replied."Good. We never got to finish our last fight so I've been hoping to get another chance to spar with you anyway." Sirah had calmed down a lot after hearing Druak offer to spar, however, unbenounced to her Druak had no plans on stopping teasing her, as it was too entertaining to see Sirahs reactions.
After getting Sirahs reaction, Durak looked toward her and nodded."Yeah. I've been needing to train and learn more about my abilities, and you're the perfect opponent to try them out on." Druak proceeds to form a rough sword out of his ice and slowly walks towards one of the arenas which are located within the training grounds.
After Sirah and Druak had stopped with their display, most of the students who had stopped their training had now gone back to what they were doing. Thanks to the training hall being made to assist different kinds of classes it was equipped with multiple different zones, each with an environment that could compliment the students' training.
Due to the price that was required to make these zones, there were only 4 zones, which were the desert zone for earth classes, the lava zone for the fire classes, the lake zone for water classes, and finally the forest zone for nature-based classes, this was the place which Druak went to when he found the girl who was going to get kidnapped.
Druak had decided to go to the lake zone as it was the closest to his class's element and since Sirah had used so much mana and was still rather tired Druak had decided to use this opportunity to train alone with a training dummy for a bit.
The first thing that Druak wanted to check was the durability of his creations, he knew they were better than the average ice user as he had already learned this when fighting Sirah previously, but it was always good to understand as much as you could about your class whenever possible.
Druak took his time finding out all the abilities he had and after about an hour of training alone he had gained a rough grasp on all his abilities.
There were quite a few things that Druak had learned: firstly the durability of his weapons. He had learned this by swinging with all his strength at the test dummy and after many tries, he learned that his creations roughly lasted about 10 swings before they broke. He had also learned he could hold his ice fog for about 5 minutes before it faded, this was much less than what could originally do but after Astra transformed into an egg it had also lessened Druaks mana capacity.
The final thing he had learned was that unlike other ice magic users his ice wasn't infused into his mana, but became the mana itself. This was massive as it meant that after changing classes his mana had changed completely into ice essence.
Each class had a specific element that was tied to it, for example, the Adder family's snake summoning was a poison-based element. When you first learn your class your mana core or aura slowly changes into the same element as your class, this is why it becomes next to impossible to change classes unless the new class has the same element as your previous one.
As your class grows in stages the mana within the individual becomes purer, this mana is called elemental infused mana. The difference with Druak mana however is that it is no longer called elemental infused mana but ice essence. This is the purest mana that has been discovered and is normally only seen in people who have reached the 7th stage or above.
Shocked by the lucky discovery Druak involuntarily grinned, this was seen by multiple students which immediately looked away in disgust, it didn't help that Druaks aggressive face made him look almost as if he was going to kill someone.
Druak hadn't noticed the disgusted expressions on the other students' faces, which even if he had seen probably wouldn't have bothered him as he had gotten used to it.
Sirah was now fully recovered and ready to go. Getting up from where she had been sitting she slowly approach Druak, a giant grin on her face.
"You ready to get your ass kicked." She said, as two daggers conjured in each of her hands.
Druak ignored her taunting, getting into a fighting position. Despite not being able to properly use one of his hands Druaks face showed unwavering confidence.
Both of them looked locked eyes as a chill seemed to envelop the arena they stood upon. It was time for their rematch. As if they had rehearsed it many times before both charged simultaneously at one another, as a tense atmosphere grew around them.
