I want you to tell me everything about your ability." Michelle said as she stop caressing her hair and placed her hands into Xin's. "Everything."
Xin was shocked by her request, why would she want to know everything about his ability, why is she acting like Delilah whose curiosity is to know what Samson's weakness is.
' Xin, you have to be careful with this girl.. Don't tell her anything, she might cause danger to you.' The A1 advised him and for once, he feel like the system was right.
Right at that moment, an alarm had sounded, notifying the students about the time. They all should have bathed by now, it's almost time for breakfast.
"I'm heading for the shower." Xin quickly said and before Michelle could say anything else, Xin had already reached the dressing room created for each one of them. There is a bathroom created for each members of the dorm room, so it won't take long for them all to finish bathing.
Although Michelle would be going back to her dorm room since her clothes and every other things are not here. She had to change the uniform she's wearing, so she quickly left Xin's dorm room. The other two students had also got ready.
After everyone was dressed up, it was time for them to head for the canteen where they'll be having breakfast.
On their way to the canteen, Michelle had also met them on the way and they all walked towards the canteen together.
"Xin, let's have a spar when classes are over." Xinny presented and he gladly accepted. He responded to her by nodding his head and smiling back at her. For a moment, Xinny felt relieved by Xin's smile. It was like she had never seen a smile as genuine as Xin's.
They were already approaching the canteen that they saw that as usual, the low level students were told to wait outside. And at the entrance of the canteen stood Megalon. The low level students started glaring at Xin as they saw him, they were like wolves who would jump at him anytime from now.
"I don't it's a good idea to go in." Michelle said as she tugged Xin's arm but Xin had ignored her as he walked towards the master bully.
"What are you doing, let these students go inside?" Xin was standing before Megalon like a dwarf to a giant. Actually, he's not as short as a dwarf and Megalon is not a giant but Xin found himself standing before an huge man.
Megalon stared down at Xin as he uttered his statement in angry.
"Are you willing to sit with the higher levels or you want to make it harder for the low levels and your friends?" Megalon waved his hands and his men had already surrounded Xin's friends, including Chris.
Xin's brows furrowed at Megalon, he wasn't willing to sit beside this hypocrites but he's the reason why these low level students weren't able to eat. They can't report to the teachers or they'll be doomed of existing in the academy. Xin knew that if he goes in to eat, the other students who weren't able to eat will think of him as a crazy bastard who caused this punishment for them. And if he leaves, there's no assurance that Megalon would allow his friends to go and there's no way the four of them would be able to fight this many high level students.
He was at the point where he needs to think wisely.
"Xin?" Michelle said as a sword was placed on her neck.
"Have you decided?" Megalon asked with a smirk. His hands were in the air, waiting for Xin's next reply so he could order his men what to do next. "I won't kill them, I'll only hold them hostage and continue to torture them till you decide to sit with us."
Xin couldn't imagine how they'll be tortured and when he was unable to think anymore, he finally spoke out.
"Fine, I'll sit with you."
Megalon signalled for his men to let Xin's friends go and a slight smile appeared on his face.
"Good choice." His deep voice echoed as he entered the canteen and the men who were stopping the low levels from moving had lowered their defenses only to escort Xin inside after receiving his food.
Xin and Chris were told to sit among the higher level students but since Xinny and Michelle were still low levels, they weren't allowed to sit with them. And even the other low level students did not want to sit with the two girls.
Megalon sat in front of Xin and he have this devilish smirk on his face.
"How do you feel now Xin? To be able to sit among the high levels of the school. It's better than sitting among those weaklings who wouldn't do you any good." As he said this, Xin raised his head and gave him a quick glance before turning to face the steak that was in his dish.
Megalon and his men laughed a little before continuing with his speech.
"I have a special assignment for you. Chris might understand what I mean." Once again, Megalon and his fellow men laughed. This time it was louder that it drew the attention of everyone in the canteen.
After Xin ate what he could, he hastily left the table. Chris and the two girls had also followed after him. He hated it all, this stupid Hierarchy stuff and unwritten rules. He couldn't eat much since he already lost his appetite.
"Hey buddy, it's okay." Chris said as he grabbed Xin by the shoulder. "You did the right thing or those low levels will hate you forever."
Xin ignored what he said as his thoughts were different. "Chris tell me, what do Megalon mean by special assignment?"
