Chris looked around to see if anyone was around and when he realized that the two girls were not looking, he answered Xin's question.
"I'll take you somewhere tonight." Chris said and they quickly moved on. But Xin was still wondering what the special assignment was and also where Chris was taking him to.
After leaving canteen, it was time for the students to head to their respective classes. As usual, each students could go into any claws of their choice. But when Xin planned on going to the martial arts class, he noticed that the two girls were following him.
Although the martial arts class and the weapon class were close to each other, he didn't know the one the girls would be going to, so he decided to ask them.
"So which class are you going?" Xin decided to ask Chris first, since he's the one beside him.
Chris pointed towards the class that was nearest to where they are, and it was the martial arts class.
Before Xin could say anything, Xinny had grabbed him at the back.
"Which class are you going to? I would be going to the one you choose." Xinny blinked twice causing Xin's brow to furrow in surprise. Why is she acting like this? Doesn't she always act like someone possessed by an evil spirit. Xin then remembered that she had gotten back to her senses and was no longer the Xinny that was used by the system to punish him.
Xinny realized that Xin was taking too long to reply and so she had whispered into his ears. "I don't want to be with that guy, let's go to class together."
Xin could understand what Xinny want, she's trying to distance herself from Chris by sticking by Xin all the time. It still crushed her heart as she recalled all what she had done with Chris and how she had acted towards Xin. It was a good thing she hadn't mentioned that Xin wasn't her twin brother.
She just couldn't imagine what came over her to act the way she did. It wasn't her but another person who was performing all those acts. She have tried several times to forget all about it but she just couldn't forget it every time she sees Chris. That's why she's trying her best to stay away from him, if possible send him out of their dorm room. Although she knew it was impossible since they have already filed a change of room report and it can only be done once.
"I'm heading for the Weapon class, we can go together then." Xin finally replied causing Chris to grunt within himself.
"What about you? Which class are you going to?" Chris asked Michelle who seemed to have grabbed Xin's hands.
"I'm going with my boyfriend, you can go to your martial arts class."
As she said this, Chris brows furrowed with anger but he quickly hide his face so they won't think it pained him.
"We'll meet later then." Chris struggled to say and the students went to their respective class of choice.
Xin could only giggle, the girl who once despised him was now treating her like a king. And Chris was being despised instead of him. But, what did Michelle meant by what she said? Her boyfriend? Me? No, it can't be me... She's just kidding, she's using that to drive Xin away.
They have finally reached the weapon hall, as usual, students here were many than the other classes. Xin could see the teacher sitting down at a corner, observing everybody's action.
As soon as Xin and the two girls entered, teacher Oscar had suddenly stood up, it was like the person he had been expecting had just arrived.
He went to address the students as he thumped his staff on the ground.
"Good Morning students, I hope you are all ready for today's class? We'll be proceeding with our previous lesson. Yesterday, we talked about three basic things you need to learn while attacking your opponents with weapons. And I mentioned two out of the three, after which I told you to spar with each other. Now, I'll be telling you the third thing you need to know while fighting." Oscar cleared his throat as he pointed his staff towards the area where all swords were kept.
"Go now, pick the weapon of your choice and then we'll continue the class." Oscar said and everyone had quickly rushed towards the weaponry spot.
Everyone already have the sword they want to use locked on, so it didn't take long for the students to go back to their position. Xin could see the blunt sword that no one else took it nor even give it a glance but he was still doubting in his mind whether or not he should pick it.
He moved closer to the sword, it looks special but if not for the blunt blade of the sword, it would have been everyone's choice. But something made him move closer to the sword, at the handle of the sword was a dragon design that looked similar to the one on his wristwatch. Why? Why did they look similar to each other? Does this also belongs to our family?
Xin was about to touch the sword that Oscar saw him. This time, Xin was the only one at the weaponry.
"No, don't touch it... you might die." Oscar shouted but it was already too late, Xin had already touched the sword.
"Noooo!"
