Chapter 18 - 300 Years Ago

Her anger turned to fear when she saw that the man's feet didn't touch the floor at all while dodging her attacks.

"Haha, I guess you're used to this kind of supernatural sight." He giggled at her cute expression when she saw the supernatural happening.

"E-evil Spirits?" Even though for 2 weeks she had always seen the Evil Spirit, but she did not expect that meeting the Evil Spirit directly could make her whole body cold and her mouth could not stop shaking.

"To think that a princess would go through the same thing when touched by a stranger. I'm sorry for trying to tease you." After laughing at Elvira, he looked back into her eyes. The golden, jewel-like eyes looked at her arrogantly, as if he had succeeded in making her fall in love.

"Huh? What did you just say?" With a tone of disgust Elvira narrowed her eyes and mocked his actions just now.

"Eh, shouldn't it be like this? Whereas 300 years ago it was effective enough to make a girl like you blush." The green-haired man looks surprised and confused when he finds out that his business is no longer liked by modern-day girls.

Her fear disappeared instantly and was able to scorn the man's self-confidence smoothly.

When the green-haired man was confused because he failed to seduce Elvira, he secretly tried to observe from where the Evil Spirit could enter her room.

After observing her room, she was sure that the seal paper was still stuck to the window and wasn't damaged at all. That fact made her raise her guard because the green haired man could easily enter her room without breaking the seal.

Even though he didn't feel any threat or evil aura around him, she was sure that the man in front of her was a strong evil spirit because he could enter the mansion without being caught by the sorcerer who was on patrol.

"W-wait, if you are an Evil Spirit how did you enter my room without breaking the seal?" Elvira had to find out how strong the Evil Spirit was in front of her, she couldn't rush to scream because she was sure that he could easily kill her with one fell swoop.

Since Her Belssing's awakening, apart from being able to see spirits, she could also see the evil aura that enveloped every Spirit.

"W-wait, if you're an Evil Spirit, how did you get into my room so easily? That paper seal should be able to keep out the Evil Spirits from here!" Elvira had to find out how strong the Evil Spirit was in front of her, she couldn't be careless by shouting for help to the sorcerer.

Even though he didn't appear to be carrying a weapon, she was sure that he could kill her with one move.

"Seal? Ah, you mean this seal?" He casually the seal paper stuck to the window and showed it to her.

"Haaa?! No way, is it just plain paper?" Elvira widened her eyes when nothing happened to him when he touched the seal paper. Whereas the Evil Spirit shouldn't be able to pass through the wall with the sealing paper or touch it.

Seeing that the man could touch the seal paper, made her a little panicked because she had never seen what would happen to an Evil Spirit if she touched it.

"This is indeed a powerful seal, especially since it was made by a Master Sorcerer. But sadly it has had absolutely no effect on me." He stared at the sealing paper like he was holding ordinary paper

Elvira was a little surprised because this was the first time she had seen an Evil Spirit behave like a human, the tattooed man could understand her words and even demonstrated how the seal paper worked.

The green-haired man slightly opened the bedroom window for a moment, and in less than 3 seconds a snake-shaped spirit with a large human head flew very fast and directly hit the bedroom window.

*Brakkk*

"Heart...Heart..." The evil spirit screamed and tried to force its way into the room.

"Take a good look." He glanced at Elvira for a moment before placing the seal on the window again.

*Kaa-boom*

A high-voltage electric shock instantly pierced the Evil Spirit's snake-shaped body and made it fall.

Elvira was at a loss for words when she saw the action that the green-haired man was doing.

"I'm a little doubtful if the Evil Spirit says that it won't commit a crime. If that's the case, shouldn't you immediately ask someone to settle your grudges and regrets in this world in order to quickly cross over to the afterlife?" Elivra turned and tried to be indifferent to the green-haired man to cover her fear.

"Even though you are beautiful but your tongue is sharp too, lady... Of course I will soon finish my regrets and go to the afterlife, but not now. I still want to be free and enjoy life before me... what are my regrets?" He looks confused when he talks about his regret.

"Hah?" Elvira gaped at the knowledge that Evil Spirits could forget.

"It seems you have some truth in what you said, for 300 years I also don't know why I became an Evil Spirit." The green-haired man averted his gaze and looked out the window with a worried face.
