Chereads / Rise of the Evil Spirit / Chapter 17 - Uninvited Guest

Chapter 17 - Uninvited Guest

Even though at first she was scared when she saw the Evil Spirits in person, but after 2 weeks alone in the room and being continuously provided with the sight of the sorcerers fighting against the Evil Spirits, she started to get used to it and wasn't afraid anymore when she saw the true forms of the Evil Spirits.

As she looked at the fighting sorcerers, she began to think about the blessings her would receive.

"If my blessings are really that strong, will I be able to eradicate them all and save Olive?" With a blank stare, she stared at the Evil Spirit who was killed and turned into black smoke.

Once again, she hoped that thanks to her, she was able to help and free the evil spirits from her sisters who were princesses of royal descent.

When she was staring at the afternooncerer at work, suddenly there was a strong gust of wind blowing in front of her face.

*SWOOSH*

"W-wind? Why is there a gust of wind?" Because she didn't have time to protect her face from the wind, her eyes twinkled a little.

After rubbing her eyes, she turned around because the gust of wind made some of the things on the table fall.

This strange incident made her wonder a little because there was no way such strong wind could enter the closed room.

After picking up the fallen items and not finding a hole in her room, she tries to forget it and intends to return to staring out the window.

"Finally I found you, princess!" But before reaching the window, suddenly a voice echoed in her room.

She immediately stopped her steps when she heard the echoing voice. All the muscles in her neck tensed because someone was aiming for her.

Whereas previously there were only she, Eliza and a sorcerer and no one should have entered her room after Eliza left.

'Evil Spirits? No... Mr Marcus' seal shouldn't be that easy to break through... Or maybe a hitman?!' Because she believes in Mr Marcus' abilities, she actually thinks that she has become the target of an assassin.

"Who are you? You better not mess with me!" The black-haired girl immediately turned around and looked at the source of the voice. She got a little goosebumps because she couldn't find the assassin's figure anywhere.

Even though she was threatened, she wasn't afraid at all because with one scream there were 4 sorcerers who would go straight in and protect her. With that confidence, she started walking to ascertain where the mysterious voice was coming from.

While rubbing her neck, she began to explore her room slowly. But before she finished exploring her room, again the wind blew in front of her face but in the opposite direction.

*SWOOSH*

She quickly raised her hand and blocked the gust of wind from her face. But after realizing where the wind came from, she was really scared. "Why is the wind blowing from that direction?!"

She couldn't quite explain what had just happened. Her fear increased even more after realizing that it was no ordinary gust of wind, and just as she was about to scream suddenly heard someone speak from the window which startled her.

"No matter how strong the blessing a princess will be, it will be useless if they can't understand what kind of talent they will receive. And the time when the princesses receive the blessing is the best time to kidnap them." The male voice that had previously been heard from the bed suddenly shifted to the window.

Not wanting to be late like before, she immediately turned around to see who had infiltrated her room.

She saw a man with a full right arm covered in green tattoos and wearing a strange sleeveless outfit.

"Who are you?! I've never seen a sorcerer or servant like you... I'm sure if you're an intruder, hurry up or I'll scream." With an annoyed expression, she immediately chased him away even though she wondered how the man had entered without the sorcerers on guard knowing.

"Please don't be so fierce, I have no ill will towards you... I was just visiting you and now I will be your loyal visitor." Before Elvira turned to call the guards, the green-haired man quickly flew behind her and caught her cheek.

Elvira's eyes widened when a hand suddenly grabbed her cheek from behind. Even though the distance between them was quite far, but the hairy man was able to catch up with her quickly.

Her shoulders were pulled and he made her lean on his chest. Elvira was a little silent when the man held her cheek and looked at her gently.

He was slightly taller than her and looked like a boy in his late teens with golden eyes and a gentle sinister gaze. He has wavy green hair and his nervous right hand is covered in strangely patterned tattoos.

After a few seconds of staring at the man, she immediately waved her hand to push him back.

*Dodge*

The green-haired man subtly dodged the sudden attack of the annoyed-looking girl.

"Why do you call you a loyal visitor?! And who allowed you into my room?!" Even though he was treated gently by him, it made her angry. As royalty there should be no stranger to make physical contact with her. She felt humiliated as she recalled the way him touched her.

"Despite being kept in this cage, I didn't expect to be able to make a lonely girl temperamental." He floated back and sat on the window sill as before.

"F-float? You're not human!?" Elvira had previously thought the man was an ordinary intruder, not at all expecting that he was not a human.
