Jacob's POV
" Then why did you say that you were fine? ", I asked, not giving her happiness to believe that I have given up.
I knew she was lying and was just talking useless stuff and giving replies without any details to mask her lies but I was just not ready to let things go.
" Because I... It was just not that serious. See, I am alright now. ", she stammered, bringing her hand up in indifference.
Her answer really made me lose my mind in anger but I tried to hold myself back so as to not show my emotions. But still I felt sad thinking that she no longer feels comfortable to even share her pain and concerns with me.
" Everything will become serious if you do not take care of it and instead of blindly believing others. Don't trust everyone who is nice to you, sis. ", I said chuckling but I was indirectly trying to warn her about her new friend.
However not thinking much of what I said, she just ruffled his hair, treating me like a kid.
