The next morning Lilly woke up and was met with a set of dark brown eyes staring at her face. Getting flustered on seeing her brother staring at her face, she let out an awkward smile.
" Why Jacob? Do I look so pretty that you are not able to take your eyes off me? "
She spoke in sleepy voice in a joking manner but immediately regretted speaking when she realised that her gums have started hurting again. She started feeling the same piercing pain she felt the morning her fangs started coming for the first time.
Lilly instantly understood why Jacob was staring at her and now feeling insecure, she hid under the bedsheet.
