After taking a shower, Lilly again rechecked her face just to make sure that nothing was visible on her face. Because it was a weekend and she knew her father was also at home, she didn't want them to see her swelled mouth and worry about her. She also had mo idea how she would answer them if they ask what happened to her face.
Luckily there was no sign of any swelling on her face but when she touched her mouth, the area near her canines, it hurt a lot.
" Lilly, how long are you going to take? Food is getting cold. ", came Lilly's mother's voice along with loud knocks.
" JUST TWO MORE MINUTES MOM. ", Lilly shouted. " You can go and I will be coming soon. "
The moment Lilly screamed, she felt her throat go sore and in the mirror, she saw that her eyes turned red for a split second. She could hear the footsteps of her mother as she left but the footsteps were crystal clear even though her mother was quite far from her room.
