After Jacob left, Lilly again started crying, feeling overwhelmed by everything and everyone. Then she noticed that Jacob did not close the door before leaving. He knew that his sister hated that but he was too angry and hurt to care about that.
Lilly got up, put the first aid box which Jacob forgot, on her study table and closed the door. Had it been any other day, she would have stormed out and knocked some sense into him for leaving her door open. But this time she knew that she was in wrong and she had no right to say anything to him
Thinking that she just locked the door herself and jumped in her bed to cry her heart out.
