As the situation on the ground progressed, inside the Temple the Marshals were busy with a meeting but it seemed that the conflict had reached a very dangerous phase.
"How's the situation on the ground faring?" Marshal One's voice sounded from the corner.
"The western side is almost within our reach, as for the eastern side; we are facing various difficulties in this part, especially the Pacific front." Old Seven sighed and replied.
"The damage?" Marshal One proceeded to question the only thing that mattered to him.
"It's difficult to actually have an accurate count of it yet. Although we can say that even if we are victorious, we might need to pay a very heavy price in terms of human lives. So far our western nation in the Allies, the United States, has already incurred about 1.25 million battle casualties." Old Seven's report made the rest of the Marshals frown with displeasure.
