Space, an enigma of the Universe. Filled with endless mysteries.
In this boundless space existed a dark tower. There were giant archaic chains latched on all sides of the tower. It seemed as if the chains held the tower in place, but in fact the chains originated from the tower and stretched towards a location unknown.
Inside the tower, an ancient formation flickered with violet hue. The formation was inscribed with all sorts of runes and inscriptions. At the center was a transparent pearl filled with a violet liquid. After each flicker, a drop of violet liquid would drip in the pearl.
Soon after an unknown amount of time, the pearl surged with the violet liquid.
[May the univ'rse f'rgive mine own sins.]
[I calleth f'rth the will of the univ'rse to alt'r the course of fate and summon thy might of the Ancient once again in the realm to safeguard the balanceth and prosp'rity of the realm.]
Along with an archaic chant, the tower was covered in a blast of violet as silence descended once again in the tower.

The Universe, always full of wonders and mystery, never betrayed its surprises.
Somewhere in the central part of this Universe, two unimaginably powerful entities were fighting each other. By human standards and mind, a feat like this seemed close to impossible, as it not only defied almost everything science had proved till now, but also something which could never be imagined.
Weapons clashed, fists were exchanged, and so on. There was no concept of time in space and thus no track of the duration.
At a closer look both of them resembled humans with two eyes, hands, and legs, in fact, everything seemed the same, yet their fights seem capable of destroying planets, creating huge waves of energy blasts. One could even find the surrounding space rippling like a wave, on the verge of being destroyed.
Then suddenly, in this empty void, where there did not exist any medium for sound to travel, a roar filled with anger and regret could be heard.
Really, the Universe never stopped being amazing.
{How dare you rebel against the council!}
Another amazing thing happened as someone seemed to be speaking, surprisingly it could be heard as well.
{No, I won't give up! You really think that you won, not yet. I will destroy every one of you. This is the only reason I exist. Once I destroy you I can go back and be heavily rewarded.}
Another voice replied to the previous person.
{Don't worry, it will soon be time for the entities above to receive their judgment, once I kill you.}
{Heh, you? I don't think so.}
The entity said, pointing his hand. At a closer look, one could find it similar to a human adult, just that it had two sharp horns on its forehead. Its body was covered in tiny scales which shone with a golden hue, also had a tail.
{I see. Then I will just capture your soul and make you watch their destruction.}
This entity looked every bit like a human, with purple hair with some silver ones. Two eyes with purple pupils. The body was covered in a robe-like dress, made of purple-colored fabric adorned with golden borders. He held a sword, approximately two meters long, that could only be seen due to the light being reflected from its black blade. Its blade had a width of about five centimeters along with being single-edged and slightly curved. It had a square-shaped guard. Somehow it resembled a katana.
Just as the fight was about to end with the defeat of the entity with scales, the situation changed.
A huge mass of purple energy swept from below the other humanoid entity, destroying its lower half.
It was stopped but, alas.
Something never changes no matter how powerful you become.
Life and Death.
{You traitor!!}
With a sorrowful voice, the human entity died, but no one noticed that an astral phenomenon similar to the one who died was sucked into the rippling space.
The space turned silent once again, conforming to human laws of science. After a few seconds though it reverberated with an intense and lunatic laugh.
