The pods pierced through the battle zone like spears for General Themistocles although for the enemy they seemed more like needles, but alas----
One of the pods at the very front suddenly stopped at a certain distance between the two huge rock-like Motherships and following this the other pods suddenly changed direction and headed towards it as if being summoned by some force.
A small shockwave passed through the vessels returning to the Mothership as the pod exploded leaving behind a small black dot that represented its existence. The other pods too neared the black dot and started exploding leaving behind small bursts of shockwave.
No one noticed that with every explosion the black dot was increasing in diameter. After multiple explosions the black dot had now turned into a circle as big as one's head and this did not stop.
