Abel stood by the door with hands in his pockets, looking at the girl throwing a tantrum in her room for a reason unknown to him.
Even though her hand was fractured, she was still able to break things.
Done watching her, he turned and left.
While walking down the fleet of stairs he remembered how Sheila had fallen from it and how his heart had almost leaped out of his chest.
"Abel, the car is ready."
Gena's words pulled him back from his reverie. "You are coming with me, right?"
"Your injury is still fresh, so there's no harm if I come with you."
Abel curled his lips when he heard that. He knew she was lying. When has she ever cared about that? Lately, she had stopped going on missions with him or doing missions that he was part of.
However, now that she was coming with him, doesn't that mean that she was no longer angry at him?
He grabbed her hand and said: "let's go."
