Concubine Solace glanced from the maids to her daughter and walked up to her in bed. She jerked her up, making the beautiful looking flower look at her before she raised her hand and left a palm print on her right cheek.
The hard smack sent the petite girl falling to the bed and the maids flinched as they lowered their heads even more like they wanted to become invisible.
After a few seconds, the princess slowly raised herself from the bed as her tears ceased to flow.
"M– Mother?" she stuttered in disbelief and shock.
Her mother had never raised her hand on her before which was why she couldn't believe she got hit by her.
"D– did you, did you really just shame me?... Did you?!!" Concubine Solace yelled.
"M– Mother, I, I didn't know what happened! I only met myself lying beside Argon in, in..." She turned her watery eyes to her maids and yelled. "What are you still doing here! Get out all of you!!"
