Hearing that, Abel flattened his lips in a thin line with brows furrowed.
Veronica looked him in the eyes and asked, "Boss, what do you plan to do? Should we report the case as it is or…"
Abel shook his head, "I can't push my sister to her death..."
"And you can't betray Argento." She concluded the sentence for him.
Seeing that he didn't deny it nor accept it, Veronica rolled her eyes and forcefully tugged at his belt, prompting Abel to look at her. She was angry.
"Abel, you have to take a stance. Argento has been laying low after eradicating the Vincente family three years ago. I heard that the heir to the family is still alive but Argento is not making any attempt to look for that boy. What if he comes back stronger than Argento and brings us trouble?"
