Randy turned to glance at the students that were looking at him with surprise mixed with fear and said.
"This road is dangerous at night. Although the Aliens cannot cross over, still their screams and angry roars would make your ears bleed, so it is better you get in now that the coast is still clear."
"B–but" Jiya suddenly forgot the words she wanted to say.
"Don't tell me you are developing cold feet, Jiya Rathore. I asked you and you accepted to be on this team, so what are you getting scared about?"
He silently glanced at the ten students and said, "hmm, you should be scared, after all, every one of you would be on their own on the battleground. You live or die depending on how well you protect yourself."
After saying that, he turned his back on the students and continued walking towards the building with his lips curled into a smile, leaving the students paralyzed on their spot, probably thinking about what he just said.
