Romeo rushed back out from the inner room, he knew that the person on the door was his roommate and even though the door was locked from the inside, the AI attached to the door would automatically open it after a minute if no one answered the door. Just like he expected, he got out of the inner room to see the door opening.
"Man, why would you lock the door? You left me hanging outside my room for a minute. Damn, that's not cool, boy!"
"I'm sorry man, I was in the bathroom." Romeo lied.
"Why would you lock the door in the first place?" The roommate looked skeptically at him.
"It slipped my mind. I thought I was still in the detention center." Romeo laughed awkwardly.
The door was not supposed to be locked because an intruder cannot come in.
On the doors of every student's room, there is a scanner and an AI controller called PASS.
