Rainn knew that he can't only rely on his magic power. Even though the magic power is pretty damn powerful, it's useless when Rainn is in a close combat situation like before. He has to go through some near-death experience to know that.
So, at the beginning of a new day, Rainn determined to train his overall physical stats.
'Okay, tell me what I need to do.' Rainn speaks to Tut while wearing his school uniform. He planning on getting to school early. There's something he needs to do in school.
Tut already knew what Rainn wanted. Conveniently, Tut lives inside his head.
Tut then proceed to explain what Rainn need to do to improve his physical stats.
Doing push-ups, running, and many other things. Rainn has to do it every day.
It is just normal basic physical training to improve one's body. But with the power of Systema, Rainn can be much stronger than the average human being. That is what Tut had said.
It seems to be much more difficult than training his magical power. But Rainn didn't complain. There is no room for complaints when you can use it for improvements instead.
Rainn arrived at his school earlier than usual. So not many students here. He put his bag on his seat and then headed to the school sports center while carrying his sports uniform.
The sports center. It is one of the facilities the school provided for students who have a talent for sports activities.
It is consistent with basketball, football, volleyball, and tennis court. Also, the gym that the indoor player or another student can use if they wanted.
Rainn has at least an hour before the bell ring. So he get changed into his sports uniform immediately and started to grab the weightlifting equipment.
Rainn didn't receive the daily quest for training today. But he does it anyway. It looks like the daily quest is just a clue for Rainn so he could get the picture of what he should and can do.
He started weightlifting.
'This shit is heavier than I thought!' Rainn gritted his teeth. He only lifted the basic iron disk. But his arm is already hurting.
"Arghh..."
Rainn let go some grumbling and struggling notice. He didn't realize that someone had already entered the gym.
Vyra held her laugh while looking at Rainn. He is struggling like crazy.
"Aergghhh!!!"
Rainn dropped it on the ground. He looked at the *equipment* with resentment eyes.
"Give up already?"
Rainn turns his head immediately. He was surprised when see Vyra there. Smiling with pursed lips. Or actually, she's holding her laughter.
"Why you here?" Asked Rainn.
"Why?" Vyra lifts her shoulder. "This is a public place isn't it?"
Rainn sighed. Then he walked to the corner and leaned against the wall.
Vyra looked at Rainn. The laughter he was holding back had disappeared as he could see the reason why Rainn was doing all this.
Maybe he wanted to get stronger so he could fight the bullies. "Want me to help?" asked Vyra.
Rainn looked up at him, "What?" "You want to learn how to lift weights, right?"
"Uhh," Rainn thought. With the help of Vyra, who knows everything, his life will be easier. However, there was a feeling inside him that said he didn't want Vyra's help at all. "I don't know. Doesn't that bother you?"
Vyra smiled "No. Usually, I'm the only one using the gym this early. Now that you're here so maybe I won't be lonely."
Rainn was looking at Vyra like he was considering something.
"Don't look at me like that. I didn't mean anything bad." Vyra said.
Rain blinked. Did his eyes look at Vyra like she was bad? But it can't be helped, the form of his eyes is always like that.
Rainn had no more reason to refuse. It would be strange if he refused the help of someone more experienced in terms of physical training when he wanted to train his physique.
So Rainn walked over to Vyra "You been here the whole time?"
"Well, quite a while."
"That means you saw the pathetic side of me earlier?"
Vyra let out a small laugh, "Yes."
Rainn nodded, "Whatever. Now, what should I do?"
He didn't care at all about the embarrassment he had earlier. Now he had more important things to do.
Vyra smiled. Even though she saw the look on Rainn's face and the harsh tone of his voice, Vyra knew that she just had a strong will.
So, Vyra took off her jacket, leaving behind the black tank top and sweatpants she was wearing.
Then he started to help Rainn by showing him the right way.
The bell rang after a few minutes had passed. They stopped their activities and sat together.
"Hey, thanks," Rainn said, panting.
"Don't think about it. Let's just say I'm making a friend accompany my morning practice," said Vyra.
Rainn looked at her. Sweat soaked Vyra's body. She was only wearing a tank top so a fair amount of her skin was exposed.
Vyra is a girl with smooth white skin. The skin wrapped the solid muscles on his body that resulted from the training she had been doing for a long time.
Even now Rainn could see that Vyra seemed to be more muscular than he was.
Vyra's hair fell out of her ponytail and stuck wildly to her neck and forehead. Vyra looked up with slightly parted lips and closed eyes.
His chest was also rising and falling due to the rapid breathing.
Rainn swallowed his saliva. This scene before him was something he rarely saw. Not wanting to get too carried away, Rainn stood up.
"I'll go first," said Rainn. Then he walked out of the room before Vyra could even answer.
The teacher who was teaching his class still hadn't come and that greatly benefited Rainn. He sat in his chair and as soon as he sat down, the image of Vyra who was looking up with slightly parted lips came again. Rainn immediately shook his head to dispel the image from his head.
Rainn expected the muscles in his arms to ache. But it turned out that he didn't feel anything.
Rainn also opened his stats window in the strength section.
[ Strength: 13 ]
Rainn nodded as soon as he saw the transparent writing in front of his eyes. His Strength has added two points. That's not a big change. But still a development.
Oh, right. Rainn suddenly remembered about the little girl who intercepted him in the corridor yesterday. The girl who owns the supernatural hunter club.
Rainn scoffed while smiling mockingly. He still couldn't get over how stupid the girl's idea was. Rainn forgot to ask Vyra why she wanted to join a club like that. Maybe because Rainn know that the reason was an unimportant matter for him.
