Elara was ranked A, the highest ranking in the bootcamp, which meant we would be spending a lot of time together. As a teacher of hand-to-hand combat, I had the opportunity to work closely with her, helping her hone her already impressive skills. Hunter, was head of ranged combat and shared my commitment to training the best of the best from all over the world.
One morning, during a sparring session, I watched as Elara faced off against another student, a strong male dragon named Draven. They moved with fluidity and precision, each trying to outmaneuver the other. The sparring was intense, and I felt a swell of pride watching her hold her own.
Suddenly, Draven landed a hard blow, and Elara went down. Instinctively, I rushed forward, my vision narrowing in rage. "Get back!" I snarled, shoving Draven hard enough to make him stumble. A low growl escaped my throat, my wolf barely contained.
