He pushed open the door on a wandering mission to find food to satisfy his hunger. He walked down the hallway and when he got to the few guards he met, they bowed and he just waved at them unsure of what to do to respond in a way that won't make him too different from the prince.
"Your highness," a familiar male voice called out to him. finally, someone he knows. Perhaps he won't have to walk too far to fill his empty stomach.
"I am hungry," he told the man as soon as he turned. "Why are you . . ."
"You have thought I am my brother again," the man said with a smile that felt different. He wondered why his guard did not tell him he had a brother when he told the man he had lost his memories.
He smiled naturally and met the man's gaze before saying, "Could you get me something to eat?" he asked the man.
"You have not done the ritual the Queen prepared for you so you can't eat yet," the man replied Liam making him stop with a slightly furrowed brow.
