Sable stands silent in front of a darkened cell, his stare piercing and unforgiving, the man in the line of his sight the target. The blue-haired man chuckles, his long hair covering all but his mouth. "What's that look for, Bishop? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were planning how to kill me. But that's impossible. You have your orders, don't you?
Sable clinches his hand into a tight fist. He squeezes until his fingers pierce his hand, drawing blood. Caleb looks down to see a small stream of blood fall from Sable's hand. "Zero, we have come to inform you that we may send you on another assassination mission in the near future."
Zero's face falls blank as his chuckle fades to silence. "Another miracle user?"
Caleb coughs in his hand as a strange sense of unconformability suffocates him. "Yes, from the information, we've gathered a miracle user on the level of a knight."
Caleb's cough becomes more violent until it turns to suffocation. Zero looks up, revealing his bright blue eyes. "Assassination after assassination. They may force me to work for the Inquisition for now, but never forget that I'm going to purge this entire world of your filth!"
Caleb's vision fades as he scratches at his throat at the mysterious force that's choking him. Sable looks down at Caleb as his eyes glow bright gold. "ENOUGH!"
The entire prison shakes at his voice. Zero sighs as he releases his hold on Caleb. "I was just having a little fu..."
Before Zero could finish his sentence, a stinging pain from his cheek causes him to fall silent. Zero's vision pans over to see a golden and majestic blade made entirely of light planted into the wall. Sable helps Caleb to his feet, his face blank and cold. "Zero, you still don't seem to understand that you are not the apex predator here.... I am."
Zero frowns as the golden blade dissipates. "No Bishop, you are nothing more than an abomination. All of you miracle users are nothing more that a blight on this world. I sensed the attack on the exam."
Sable looks over at Zero, confused. "What about it?"
Zero grits his teeth as rage boils to the surface. "I sensed what attacked. She was one-hundred percent human. Yet your "Students" murdered her in cold blood and not just that they enjoyed it. What I felt from that poor girl was regret, longing, and desperation. Do you know what I felt from the supposed good guys? It was joy excitement that was followed by pride in their victory. There was no remorse or sympathy from them. Even now, in a test, as we speak, the grader has gone way off track as your students and the examiner are fighting to the death. You all act as if miracles are a gift from god and omens are boons from the devil, but to me all of you are evil and though I might be trapped here now, I swear on all the exists I will rip you all to shreds. I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!!"
Caleb punches the cell door. "You are scum an...."
Before Caleb could finish, Zero speaks up once again. "Caleb was it? How strong are you?" Caleb steps back, shocked and confused. "From your coat, I see you are a knight. Did you know that a single knight could wipe out an entire city in only a few hours? Hell, look what five applicants did to a town. A training town, luckily, but what if that was an actual town? So how much damage do you think your fearless leader could do if he got bored one day? I'd say he could wipe out an entire country in an hour or two." Zero's gaze filled with rage stares daggers at Caleb. "DO YOU THINK YOU DESERVE TO LIVE!"
Caleb falls silence from the unstable amount of blood lust Zero was releasing towards the two Inquisitors. Sable breaks the silence with a light chuckle. Both Caleb and Sable stare, shocked as Sable's light chuckle breaks into a violent laugh. "That was an interesting speech. You must have had a lot of time to practice it seeing how you have nothing else to do in that cell of yours. Let's say somehow you eventually escape, you might be able to get to quite a few miracle users. However, eventually I would find you and before you could blink, you'd be dead. But let's say you somehow killed me. What would you do about Loid?
Zero falls silent, rage still fills his face. Caleb looks at Sable, concerned. "Grand Inquisitor?"
Sable puts his hands in his coat pocket as a cold unfeeling image falls on his face. "That's what I thought. You are nothing but bark. In the end, only the strong decide what's right and what's wrong. So go ahead bide your time. Plan All you want, I will do the same and when you make your move, I'll be there and after I'm finished, I promise I'll bury what's left of you."
Zero explodes with anger, thrashing around, trying with all his might to free himself from his shackles. "You are nothing more than a monster! I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOOOOUUU!!!"
Sable turns around and walks down the corridor. "And you are nothing but an insignificant killer. You will die as you lived being nothing more than an ant beneath my boot."
Caleb follows Sable as the screams of Zero echo behind them. The angry face of Sable stopped Caleb from speaking to him. Caleb has known Sable for a long time but this was the first time he ever saw him genuinely mad.
Zero continues to scream before another voice silences him instantly. "Shut up bug."
Zero looks over to a steel door with hundreds of markings adorned upon it. "Who are you? I have been here for years and never heard you talk."
The voice echoes in throughout the prison. However, it was not directed to Zero. "It's here. My creation has wondered back to me. Who holds you now, my old friend?"
