Some minutes ago.....
Edwin walked into the rooftop room and dropped some clothes he had brought in with him on the floor beside Darren, who looked at him and looked at the clothes.
"Totally not my style." he said and picked up a shirt. "But I will manage."
"What do you want from Ambrosia?" Edwin asked staring at him seriously. No matter how he tries to ask Ambrosia she just wouldn't tell him where she got him from and so he have been dying to know who the strange guy is.
He did have a lot of questions for the young man.
Darren leaned his back on the wall, sighed loudly and scratched the back of his neck. He was still thinking of ways to seduce Ambrosia and win against her but none where coming. He cursed inwardly for his failure to think of a way out of his situation, and so licked his lips and closed his eyes.
Edwin observed the man carefully in what he was doing, his thoughts where hidden and it was hard to tell what he was thinking. Edwin leaned by the wall facing him and folded his arms below his chest and used his feet on the wall to support his stamina.
"The witches sent you right?"
"Are we going to keep talking about that again? Do I look like a puppet that was sent by the witches, to you? You and that woman aren't witches so what are you talking about."
"We aren't witches and I advice you not to call Ambrosia a witch cause she will rip your head off in a second."
"Remind me to call her a witch when she gets back so she can rip my head off. I am tired of seeing crazy things and crazy blood suckers. My mind have been messed up thanks to you and your woman. I really hope we don't talk about any crazy people or things that exist secretly." he said lazily and dug his fingers into his hair and moved his hair back, with his eyes closed.
Edwin said nothing and silently watch and observe the obvious tired man who seems not to have eaten or have enough sleep. From his respond and his expression, Edwin could tell he has nothing to do with the witches but what was he doing in the castle and how did he find the castle? He wanted to ask but a loud scream made him looked towards the window sharply.
Darren opened his eyes and looked towards the window wondering what the scream was about. The scream did come from the forest and it doesn't sound like Ambrosia's. Ambrosia will never scream in danger. So that means.... a human?
Darren stood up and glanced at Edwin who also took a glance at him and back towards the forest. He looked at the forest for a while and then narrowed his brow.
"Ambrosia." he said and jumped out the window.
A human was definitely in trouble. The scene of the demon she killed appeared in Darren's head and he feared for whoever was in the forest as he was sure must have been frightened by Ambrosia. He picked up a shirt and ran out of the room.

Edwin limped on the trees, looking down in search of the human. He stopped on a tree branch and saw a girl trying to escape Ambrosia who was walking slowly behind her. The girl was so terrified and he could see she wet her pant as she tries to escape the hands of the vampire queen which will be impossible. No matter where she runs to or goes to, she will still fall into the hands of Ambrosia and there is no escape and no way to run out of the forest. She is trapped in the forest.
Ambrosia stopped and raised her head, meeting his gaze. Her red optic had only one view and that is her prey. There was no way to stop her no matter what he does, the young girl is done for.
Ambrosia looked away and continued on her journey of going after her prey who was trying so hard to escape. Edwin moved his fingers across his head and limped to a tree, going after Ambrosia.
The vampires are more powerful than the humans in strength, abilities, speed and the likes, but the humans are smart and shouldn't be underestimated because of their technology. They can do what the witches have been planning to do with just their technology. They can annihilate the vampires existing and that is why they have been careful enough not to expose their identity to the humans and also don't want to have anything to do with them.
Killing the young lady might actually bring the humans attention to the death forest and the government might completely deforest it. They have been planning to do so, but Lucinda have been the one stopping them, but this time, they might actually do it and that is why he has to stop Ambrosia from killing her.
He heard a faint sound and so stopped and closed his eyes to pick the sound correctly. It was coming from a device which definitely belongs to the girl, but it was far away.
If he leaves, Ambrosia will kill the girl, but if he leaves the device which might actually be a phone, the forest will be invaded.
He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. He just have to chose one option and that is saving the forest and their identity. He took a glance at the path Ambrosia went through, and went through the opposite direction to get the phone.
He jumped down a tree and walked to where the phone was. The girl was having a live video which seems to have millions of viewers. Just like other times, he is the one to clean up the mess.
