The two of them, after making a new deal, just stood there in the same position staring at each other, eye-to-eye, like a competition where the first one to look away fails.
Ambrosia eyes were solely focused on his, trying to read his thoughts, but just like it have been, she was blocked out. Does the man even know he blocks her out of his thoughts? Her gaze were scrutinizing and piercing but the man wasn't moved by that. The corners of his lips curled up slightly and quickly, he drew the unsuspecting woman closer to him, letting their bodies touch each other. Her eyebrow arched up but she didn't push him away or pin him to the wall like she always do.
He smirked and looked down at her alluring lips. He have never felt as good as he did when flirting with her. Although her face still remained poker faced but he wasn't going to shiver because of her hardened face.
She pulled him by his neck, closer to her face and slowly, her hand moved to his hair. She tugged his hair tightly and gazed deeply into his eyes. "Be careful what you do, I am more dangerous than you thing. Do not forget, I am the boss here." she spoke lowly and Darren could feel the coldness coming from her low voice and piercing eyes.
Ambrosia narrowed her eyes and looked back at the door, sensing a presence there. Darren followed her eyes and found no one, but the atmosphere changed. It became hotter than it was, like the intensity of the heat increased by a volume. He unconsciously let go of Ambrosia waist and glued his eyes to the door waiting to see who caused the change in the atmosphere. Surely, the one outside must be someone like the witch queen. He looked at her for any reaction but her unreadable expression gave nothing. Instead she faced the door with her hands behind her back.
The door opened and a man, looking a bit older than him, walked in. Darren felt goosebumps all over his body because of the aura the two people emitted. A powerful aura that was so strong. The man eyes were glued to the forest witch, not noticing his presence. The powerful man then bowed to her.
He straightened his posture and his eyes fell on Darren. Edwin shifted a bit seeing the shirtless human in the castle, was he an unlucky prey? He looked at Ambrosia and his eyes widened. The vampire queen had no look of hunger or death in her eyes, she wasn't going to kill the man. What is the man doing in the castle then? His eyebrows arched up as he tried to understand the whole situation but that only added to his confusion.
"Ambrosia, what is going on?" he asked in a low and firm voice, which was filled with shock and confusion.
The woman said nothing and lazily looked at the stairs. She glanced at him again and disappeared from the large room. Edwin remained stuck in his spot as his eyes never left the man standing before him. What was going on?
Darren eyes were also glued to the man as he wondered who he was. He also have a powerful aura but it wasn't near to the witch queen who he just found out her name is Ambrosia.
Edwin wondered if he was a new human servant replacing Harry, but the other elites helps her on it and they also inform him about it, but this one, no elite member informed him about a new human servant. Did Ambrosia get him by himself? She can't leave the forest so how will she get him to work for her. There were a lot of questions he wanted to ask but couldn't voice them out as he lost his voice, staring at the man.
The human looks familiar, but he couldn't pick out where he saw him. Edwin perceived they have met before, but when, where, how or could it be his imagination? He shook his head and took his eyes away from Darren, now looking at the stairs. Ambrosia do have a lot to answer. He ran out through the window and Darren saw him jump.
They are surely lot of people like Ambrosia. This earth isn't just for humans. Bringing this to the notice of the people on earth will definitely make him the most famous researcher in the world. There are lot of secrets no one knows about earth.
He looked away from the window and stared at the stairs. His eyes were glued on it as he got lost in thought. The chilly breeze that blew in through the window brought him back and with a sigh, he closed his eyes and looked at the cat that meowed beside him.
"Little kitten, you should go meet your family. At least they are waiting for you, mine don't know I exist anymore, as Ambrosia said. Lucky you, you can leave but I am caged here with that woman." he walked slowly to the window with his hands in his pocket and looked outside at the sky. "I will surely get this woman in fourteen days. I will tame the wild woman and then send her to the abyss where she belongs." he clutched his fist and his face hardened as he thought of the state of his sister and how his life just took a sharp turn in a day. "I will surely destroy you." he said in a tight voice.
