Gloria immediately tried to skid away from Vanessa but she didn't go too far when a bullet shot past her, causing her to stiffen right where she was almost instantly. There was no sound which meant that Vanessa has set the silencer up, if she had shot her dead right now then Gloria was sure she would have died without anyone knowing anything about what happened to her.
Maybe they wouldn't have found her corpse until it was badly rotted and mangled by the streets dogs because in her family no one cared about her unless they needed money and since her mother was settled for this month, she might not as well come to look for her until the start of the next month, if so who would have complained about her being missing?
