Chapter 56 - Day of date

Vanessa checked her beige pleated, floaty skirt and white top with a lacy border for the millionth time as she waited for Nick on the side of the Cafe called ' Latte on the rocks,' before checking her watch to see whether she was an hour too early or not but her watch told her that she wasn't, not only was she on time, Nick was running ten minutes late than the time they fixed. It wasn't something that Vanessa was going to find annoying but as she looked back in the shiny glass window behind her, she fixed her hair and shot a beaming smile at it, only to check whether or not she had something stuck on her teeth, only to get a smile in return from the stranger who was sitting inside the café, she realised that she did not like to wait.
