" You seem to be in a happy mood," noticed Derren as he saw his sister walking inside the house while humming a jolly tune. " Did something good happen?"
" That's right," said Vanessa as she gave her brother a big smile and skidded over to him. " I am invited to a date! Isn't that something to be excited about?"
Derren who was sitting on the couch with his head lowered, reading some important material that was scattered all over the tea table and gave Vanessa a confused look. " You are invited to a date? Who invited you?"
" Nick, who else?" said Vanessa, though she was still smiling, her brows were scrunched up. " If he didn't invite me on a date, do you think that I would have gone on one?"
Derren frowned as he exchanged a glance with Nolan before taking off his glasses. " No, I know that if you are going on a date, it must be Nick. I was just surprised that something like this happened so soon."
