Nick stiffened as he looked at Vanessa who was smiling and waving at him and then he looked at his colleagues who were glaring at him like he has offended their ancestors and swallowed before raising his hand and waving back at Vanessa who said something to Marcus and then he watched as the fakest smile etched on Marcus's face and he walked towards him with a grin that only proved that he was getting in big trouble later on.
" Nick, Vanessa here says that she knows you very 'closely', and would like to be under your care," said Marcus as he raised his brow with an expression that said 'how dare you didn't tell me about this. " Do you mind, taking care of her during her probation period?"
Of course, he didn't have any trouble training Vanessa but he knew that Marcus and the other colleagues will definitely find trouble with him once they get their hands on him.
