" Umm, I see." Nick cleared his throat as he sent the tally report to Marcus and then turned to Vanessa before saying, " I am going to give you a few more reports if you are okay with that? After all, it's your first day in the world, if you think that it's too much you can tell me. Alright, Miss Clark?"
" You can call me by my name," said Vanessa as she tucked her hair behind her ear and turned to face the computer screen. She naturally thought that Nick wanted to check her skills in the finance department and this was why he was sending her so many reports, what she did not know was that Nick wasn't testing her, he was just surprised by her speed. That was why he was trying to check if her speed was just as fast as earlier when it came to reports that were difficult to tally, if her speed was just as accurate as earlier then he was sure that Vanessa would be an amazing addition to their department.
