That day Vanessa spent a good deal of her time asking about Nick's likes and dislikes of course she was pretty subtle about it but Nick still sensed her intentions and answered patiently, usually he would have ignored a girl if she tried to get close to him but maybe it was Vanessa's genuine interest in him or maybe because he was feeling at ease with her, but he wasn't disgusted by her questions. Because she didn't look down on him, not once even when he told her that he wasn't a party guy and liked to stay at home with his parents and liked eating a home-cooked meal.
She was pretty impressed when he told her that he had a passion for cooking and didn't make comments like 'oh isn't that too girly?'. Even Marcus who has been his friend for ages teased him about his cooking hobby saying that he was being too much of a househusband and he should just look for a working woman who earned millions and stay at home all day since he give off such grandpa vibes.
