Chapter 1 - ENCOUNTER

Eirene Queen... Also known as the queen of villains. She was the most famous actress in the country for always playing the villain and earning the award with the title of the best actress when she was just twenty. Although she was famous, she was not popular.

"You coming?" Eric asked Ares, who stopped in his tracks.

"Ye-yeah." Ares shook his head and ran to his friends.

The group was of the sons of rich families, but they were different from all the rich guys in the university. Because they were all raised by their grandmother like an ordinary citizen, none of them did crazy sh*ts like drunk driving a sports car or having many girlfriends and whoring around.

Omal Genie came to know his father's job when he was twelve and, he was the first one to step into the rich life of this friend group. Followed by Eric Pendergrass, Karson DeRose, Orion Meissa, and Ares Queen entering the rich people's world when he graduated high school.

Ares was homeschooled the whole way and didn't know a rich life because his father was afraid of corrupting him if he grew up in a place where he could get anything and do anything.

The boy still had some resistance to going to the most expensive university in the country and riding one of the many sports cars that his father prepared for him. So he usually walked or took a train from his house to school. He was glad that his friends somehow grew up in the same kind of situation.

The group then went into their usual bar and got all the attention as any other day. Even the music stopped when they entered. Women were watching them like a hunter while men were staring at them like they were seeing a lion.

"Good afternoon. Your seats are reserved." The manager came like always and walked them to their private room, which was reserved.

"Thank you, Dennis." Karson patted his shoulder.

"No need to thank me, young master." The manager bowed. The bar was owned by the DeRose corporation, which was Karson's family company, and much of the alcohol here was made by them.

"We want the usual." He ordered them when they were all in the room.

"I'm going to the washroom." Orion kept his bag at the side of Eric and walked out of the room.

When he exited the washroom, three girls immediately approached him. "Umm, excuse me? Hi. Umm, my name is Stacy. Can we exchange numbers?" The girl in the middle asked him with a red face.

"Why?" Orion asked. He hated when girls were like this. They didn't even ask his name, but they wanted his number? That was absurd. They clearly wanted him for money or looks as he was wearing one of the famous brand watches he got as a birthday gift from his cousin.

The girl posed for a moment before answering him. "Uhh. I want to get to know you. You look exactly like my type!" Of course, they wanted to know him without knowing his name.

"Well, you are the exact opposite of my type." He flashed a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

Girls gasped when they heard him.

"You!" The one on the left pointed her finger at him accusingly.

"What?" He tilted his head like an innocent child.

"Shame on you! How can you make a girl cry!" The girl in the middle was crying in the arms of the right side, which irritated Orion more.

"Just like that. If you want to get to know me, you should have asked my name first."

As soon as he asked, the girl in the middle stopped her fake crying and turned to look at him with puppy eyes. "I just forgot! What is your name?"

"Too late," Orion whispered in her ear and walked away from them. It was always like this from when he was little. Girls would confess to him without even talking to him or acting like a girlfriend when he didn't even know her existence.

"That took you long." Eric commented when Orion came back. He was sipping on his grape juice since he didn't have a high tolerance to alcohol which could make him sleep if he took even a sip.

"Yeah, usual." Orion sat on his seat and drank coffee. Even though he was old enough to drink, he didn't like the taste of it so he stayed with his old buddy.

"You made them cry? You are so cold sometimes. If you just exchange numbers, you can get a girlfriend." Omal told him and munched on his cake. He sneakily ate cake whenever he came here since his mother was strict on food because he was a model.

Orion replied, "I already have Estella. I'm not going to cheat on her." He had a fiance that he was supposed to get married to after he graduated and took over his family business.

"Loyal, I see." Karson sipped on his cocktail that had a little amount of alcohol.

"I have to go." Ares rose from his seat when he saw a text from his father to meet in his office at the hotel where he worked as a hotel boy. He drank all of the leftover milk he believed would help him grow and left the money on the table. "See you guys later."

"Bye."

"Byeee."

"Take care."

"Don't get pregnant." Karson wiggled his eyebrows when he sent the purest of all out. He thought of him as a son and not a brother or a friend. But if Ares was a girl, he'd definitely be asking him out.

The girls, who were rejected by Orion, approached Ares as soon as he was out of the room, "Hey!" They were waiting for anyone to come out but him.

Ares was wearing the clothes of a normal university student and had the least of his charisma. Most of the time, he was mistaken for being their lapdog, but in truth, he was the richest of them all or perhaps in the whole university.

"Yes?" Ares stopped and tilted his head.

"Ugh, why is it you?" The girl on the left didn't even see the guy's face she stopped before calling out and that was why she was disappointed to find the least hot person out of the four hotties in the room.

"I'm sorry?" Ares couldn't understand the meaning of the words. Were they expecting someone else?

"Never mind. You still have worth. I give you this," Another girl gave him muffled bills into his shirt pocket. "And you call us one of the guys in the room."

"What's this money for?" The boy took out the money and found that it wasn't much.

"Do I need to explain it?" The girl that gave him the money frowned and she was clearly annoyed.

The middle one finally spoke up in an annoyed tone. "Hey! Just call one of the guys in there, dumb b*tch!"

The girls' attitude was so much different from the way they were talking to Orion. They weren't acting all cute and weak. The middle one was actually smoking and, the two beside her were drinking and smoking weed.

"Why don't you call them yourselves?" Ares returned the money to the hands of the girl he received from.

"Can't you see that we are busy? Just go and do as you are told, sh*thead!" The middle cursed and continued scrolling through her phone.

Ares was surprised. No one has ever called him sh*thead. Just who did this girl think she was?

"I'm sorry but I'm in a hurry. Please go ask them yourselves. I think they would be happier that way." Ares told them softly, but it didn't matter to them.

They grabbed the boy's collar and pinned him to the door. "Shut up and do as you were told, dumbass! You are their lap dog. When I become their girlfriend, I'm going to be your master too, so you better earn points here, nerd."

The moment Ares was going to protest, the door opened from the inside and caught the four of them off guard. He was falling backwards from the force when he felt one of his friends catch him.

"You alright?" Omal asked his friend. Ares was the smallest in the group and only had a height of one-seventy-three centimetres.

"Thanks." Ares stood up with the help of Omal and saw all his friends standing at the door.

"What are you doing to our friend, ugly ladies?" Karson asked in his definition of politeness.

The girls trembled from the glares from the boys. "We-we we were just talking to him. He... fell and we were helping him stand up. That's all..."

Another continued, "We actually came here to talk to you guys. We were wondering if you would spend some time with us. It'd be fun." They hid cigarettes and drinks behind them and asked using her sweet voice that only sounded like a screech to the boys.

"F*ck off." Eric told them. No one was going to bully their friend.

"Huh?"

"He said f*ck off. You are on the blacklist now. Do not come back here. If you do, we wouldn't hesitate to call the cops." Karson told them.

"You can't do that! It's not like you own the bar!" The girl in the middle complained. She didn't want to get involved with the police. She had the pride to protect.

"In fact, he does own this place, sweetheart. He can do anything he wants. Know your place." Orion told them without a trace of warmth.

When the girls turned back before they got caught, they saw Dennis along with three bulky security guards of the bar standing right behind them.

"Bye." Karson blew a kiss to the women when they were being taken away and turned to Ares. "Sorry about that."

"It wasn't your fault." The boy replied and held tighter to his brown shoulder bag. His grandmother hand-made the bag by herself when he was moving away and it was one of the precious things Ares had in his life.

"Your father called, right? You better go. I don't want him sending a SWAT team and breaking down this place." Karson joked and smiled. He may have been joking but he wasn't exaggerating.

"Okay. Thanks!!" Ares bumped into the wall when he attempted to run and again was helped by Omal before he actually managed to run off safely.

Everyone nodded when Karson commented, "Yep. He's clumsy. No doubt."
