"...Yes, ma'am." Ares stood there like a statue facing her. He had a feeling something would happen on this side of the bar and asked Quentin to exchange with him. His prediction was right. Something happened. Something big.
"One dry martini." The assistant told him when he thought Ares was waiting for his order.
"Ahh... Yes, sir." Ares snapped back to reality and began making the mulled wine she ordered. The Queens' Hotel didn't allow anyone who didn't have a license to be a bartender, he called Quentin for supervision. He had been learning how to make a martini and, he was on the level of providing it but because he was on the rich side with the super famous actress, he needed an adviser.
"I'll make the martini. You make the mulled wine." Quentin saw the situation and whispered to his colleague. "Where is Clinton?" Clinton was the bartender, who was in charge of this side of the bar. This side normally consisted of the assistant and the bartender but, Clinton was nowhere to be seen.
"His girlfriend busted into the bar and began cursing. He needed to take it outside and, he's now coaxing her, I guess." Ares whispered back to his friend and continued to make the wine.
"So that's what the voices in the back is about." Quentin chuckled and looked back. He could hear someone shouting but, most of them were overpowered by the music in the bar.
"Are you sure it was the right decision for me to make the mulled wine?" Ares asked when he was done. He was holding it in his trembling hands.
"You are the best in making mulled wine. I can assure you that. Now give it to her. I need a few more shakes." Quentin smiled with reassurance and encouraged his friend.
Ares sighed worriedly and walked to the actress with scared eyes. "Here is your mulled wine." He handed it to her, and she thanked him before she lightly took a sip and stared at the glass in her hand with squinted eyes.
"Did you make this?" She looked at him coldly, and he could swear someone could die with that sight.
"Y-yes, ma'am." His words trembled.
"Hmm." Eirene didn't ask anything else and sipped on the wine the boy made.
"Do you have brownies here? If you do, I'd like to order one for myself and one her." The assistant told the boys at the bar when he got his drink.
"We do. We'll bring them in a short while." Quentin replied with a smile and dragged his friend out of the bar before bowing his head slightly.
"Bring the plates from the other side. I'll prepare the cakes." Quentin told Ares and took the brownies from the refrigerator and placed them on the plates that Ares brought. To show his thankfulness, Ares added chocolate ice cream next to the brownies and walked to Eirene and her assistant.
"I don't think I ordered an ice cream." Eirene spoke calmly and looked at the boy who brought it.
"Umm. It is to show my gratefulness to you. This is for free." Ares told her.
"For what, dear?" Jaxon, the assistant, asked.
"I don't think you remember. You saved me and my friends from a group of Greek tourists the other day in front of a university gate." Ares hung his head low to avoid their intimidating gazes and told them in a whisper like a mosquito. Nonetheless, the two heard it and thought about it.
"I don't remember." Jaxon laughed.
"Neither do I." Eirene spoke.
"I'm not asking you to remember. I just... I just wanted to thank you because I saw you were the one who saved us. My grandmother always told me to become a person who is able to say thank you and sorry." Ares immediately replied and blushed. "Thank you, ma'am, sir."
The concept of 'Jingi' was the motto in Queen's household. It came from Scarlet Queen, the founder of Queen cooperation and the one who raised Ares. She was formally the wife of the head of a yakuza group in Japan when she was married to
"I see. Then we will accept your thank you and gratefully eat this." Jaxon smiled and began eating his piece of cake.
Eirene had her eyes squinted but smiled slightly and thanked him.
"Ares, could you come to this side?" Quentin called quietly from the other side.
"Okay. Enjoy and if you wish to call me, then there is a button there to inform us." Ares told them politely before bowing and going to the other side.
"You thought wrong, didn't you?" Jaxon smirked and looked at the actress.
"..." Eirene sipped on her drink and looked at the button near them. She tried to put her hair to her ear when she realised her hair was in a bun.
"Woman, you can't lie to me." He chuckled and told her. "You thought the boy was going to give you his number. I saw that."
"...I did. I was caught off guard. I don't think he knows cheesy lines." The actress chuckled gracefully and took a spoon of the melting ice cream.
"Anyway, we have to fly to the UK tomorrow. Have you packed everything?" Her assistant asked.
"Yes, but when I checked the weather for tomorrow, it said storm until Thursday. Maybe we wouldn't be able to fly tomorrow or any day this week." She replied.
"We'll see tomorrow. Then we might need to think of staying here for another night, huh?"
"Yeah."
From there, they began talking in a different language so that it would be hard for someone to eavesdrop on their conversation.
Ares was busy on the other side and didn't have time to think about the actress and her assistant. Sometime after, a bell rang in the middle room, indicating that someone pushed the bell from the other side.
Eirene handed her black card out on the table to Ares and waited. Jaxon received a call from their company and had to leave early. Good thing Ares came with the check and, it didn't take long for him.
"I liked your mulled wine. Would you make that for me when I come again?" Eirene asked as she stood up.
"You are welcome any time." Ares wasn't able to close his slightly open mouth from her beauty. Although most of her skin was covered, she was still able to make any man enchanted and emit sexiness.
"Thank you for the treat." She smiled softly before walking away just like the same way she came in. She reminded him of a black lily.
Ares was stunned for a long time, and when he was brought back, he saw Quentin finishing the job, and the last customers were leaving.
"Thank you." They bowed simultaneously and turned off the lights of the bar. They walked to the worker's room in silence and busted out when they reached the room and closed the door behind them.
"Ahhhhh!" Ares exclaimed as soon as he entered.
"What happened?" Quentin came with a smile on his face.
"She said she would like to try my wine when she comes again." He smiled happily at his friend.
"Do you know when?" He chuckled as he asked.
Ares stopped smiling and sat on the bench sadly. "I don't." He looked really disappointed in himself.
"Oh..." The conversation died.
"Why didn't I ask her?" Ares held his head between his palm and groaned.
"You just need to come every day and work until she comes." Quentin smiled at his friend awkwardly. "I didn't know you were so serious about this. You know your whole appearance reminds everyone of an angel."
Ares turned to his friend and frowned because he didn't understand. He had pure grey eyes that inherited from his grandmother and soft dark hair from his father. His smile was harmless and calming and, when stared with his eyes, it felt like they were seeing through one's mind and soul. Because he was grown up with his grandmother, everyone could see that he had never heard anything about self-pleasuring.
"Never mind. You are young."
"Huh?" Ares frowned at his friend, who tapped his shoulder and began changing. "I don't know why I am feeling this way. But I want to get to know her more. I don't think she is the kind of person that everyone says."
"I also felt that." Quentin removed his bow tie from his neck as he spoke, revealing his muscular chest. "But we don't know her personaly."
"And that's the problem. Why does everyone think that she is a bad person? I don't think that's true. They also don't know her personal life but they keep blubbering nonsense. I don't think it's right."

As Eirene predicted earlier, the storm hit the city and they weren't able to fly to film. They needed to stay a couple of nights in The Queens' Hotel.
"You are happy. Is it because of that boy?" Jaxon asked from the sofa.
"...Yes." Eirene thought for a while before she answered. Her assistant widened his eyes and smiled. It was rare for her to admit things easily.
"Okay." He smirked and told the woman smiling faintly at the raging rain outside.
