The twins reached their destination and when they did, something was telling them that they had not reached Santa's Grotto. A dark voice came from the corner and said "Welcome Elsa, been a long time since we met. I believe that the child came too? I wish to give her my warm wishes and a few....presents."
"She doesn't need your filthy nightmares Morpheus!" said another voice. This one wasn't as cold or dark as the last. In fact, it had love and concern in it.
"Chris, there is no need to try to escape the inevitable. If it doesn't happen now, it will happen sooner or later" The cold voice said.
"Chris? We had left King Hydrafist back at the castle. How did he reach here without us seeing him?" Samantha whispered in Blake's ear.
"Something tells me that that was not King Hydrafist." Blake whispered back.
"King Hydrafist? How do you address your husband as a king! And how can you sound like a boy Elsa?" The cold voice said. He came out of the darkness and saw that instead of a mother holding her child there were two children standing together.
"Shadow? Where are you? You are supposed to be here." The man who came out of the darkness said impatiently.
"Sir. Sorry I am late. Changing into my normal form took longer than expected." A wolf coming through the fireplace said.
"All is forgiven Shadow. What matters is that you are here." The man said. "You" He said pointing at Blake "Tell me your name" Blake didn't move a muscle (he was too scared to talk) "You lack manners" The man said and pointed his finger at her. He suddenly snapped his fingers and Blake vanished. All that could be heard were his screams. The man turned to Samantha and said "You girl, introduce yourself unless you want to end up like him" "I am Samantha Hawthorne. That was my brother Blake Hawthorne. Now you tell me exactly who you are and what did you do with my brother." Samantha said.
"You are a confident little one, aren't you? I am Morpheus. I have locked your brother away in a dungeon, and in my dungeon, you stay until the end of time." Morpheus said.
"Who is the other man in the room?" Samantha asked.
"Well, only he can tell you that." Morpheus said. Saying this, he pointed his finger at the other man and suddenly a beam of darkness came out and wrapped itself around the other man's neck and lifted him up to try and choke him. "Tell her who you are" Morpheus said.
"I am the real Christopher Hydrafist. I am the king of the Snowy Kingdom and am married to Elsa, the controller of the Spirit Realm and the seasons of dreamland." The man said, choking. "Put him down. I did not tell you choke him" Samantha said. Morpheus did as instructed. "Hmm. He does exactly what I say. If I tell him to release Blake, he might." Samantha thought. "Release Blake now" Samantha said.
"Oh, I'm sorry, did you think I worked for you? In case you have that doubt let me clarify it. I DON'T WORK FOR YOU! Now that you know the truth you can be sent to the spirit realm." Morpheus said. "N-n-no" Samantha stammered. Morpheus somehow made his ears disappear and snapped his fingers and Samantha disappeared.
