Samantha was floating in mid-air and when she felt that she had had enough she fell down. She imagined her house, her mother waiting for Blake and her with a fresh batch of Choco-chip cookies, she imagined that her brother was still with her and that they had never come to this world. She opened his eyes to see if it was true and it was; her brother was standing beside her, she was back home and her mother was standing in front of her with a fresh batch of cookies. Samantha ran to hug her mother but when she did, she merged with her surroundings as they changed. Suddenly her brother, her house turned into snow as she remembered the blizzard, they had got caught up in. All of her surroundings turned into that of the blizzard. She thought what would have happened after the blizzard so, she saw the sun coming out and the trees she had seen in her dream glistening in the sunlight. She suddenly realized that she wasn't in dreamland anymore; she was in the spirit realm.
"This place is doing whatever I want. I want a way to go home with Blake" Samantha thought. Suddenly a door appeared in front of her. Many arrows pointed towards the door. Samantha thought that was the way so, she opened the door and went inside. She had reached the Snowy kingdom's castle once more and saw a baby sleeping peacefully on her bed and Queen Elsa staring at her with bewilderment. Samantha stepped forward awkwardly. She could feel Elsa's stare. She turned around and asked
"Do you know how I reached here?"
"Yes. You came here through the spirit realm. But at such a young age finding a way out for the first time is nearly impossible. And doing in such little time is impossible." Elsa said.
"How do you know how long I've been inside?"
"Honey," Elsa said, In her loving voice, "I am the guardian of the spirit realm. I know everything that goes on inside of it at all times. If you had just looked back to see me instead of rushing to hug your mother, you would've seen me. I would have warned you that this is not real. But as soon as I saw that you had found a way out, I had to rush back here to tell you of what you've accomplished. I never expected you to come out here! In fact, I was just about to set out to find you. It is not any ordinary person's job to get out of the Spirit Realm! You did it in mere minutes!"
"How'd you know that was my mother?" asked Samantha, not wanting to trust Elsa after what had happened with her brother and Chris.
"She looked like an adult version of you."
"Gotcha. Who's that?" Samantha gestured to the baby sleeping.
"My daughter, Crystal." Elsa said while smiling at her daughter.
"Uh-huh. Sure, if that's what you want me to think." Samantha muttered.
"Samantha, why are you like this? If I didn't know any better, which I don't, I'd say that you don't trust me."
"I don't! Whoever was there with us was not the King! I'm not sure who to trust right now! MY BROTHER'S AS GOOD AS DEAD RIGHT NOW AND I'M IN A WHOLE NEW WORLD ABOUT WHICH I DON'T A THING!" Samantha shouted, letting everything inside out. "THAT PERSON WITH US IN THE ROOM WE WERE IN EARLIER WAS NOT THE KING! HE WAS SOME IDIOT SHAPESHIFTER OR SOMETHING! AND WE WERE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO TRUST HIM! AND THEN, OH IT ONLY GETS BETTER, DOESN'T IT? THEN WE MET MORPHEUS! HE TOOK MY BROTHER FROM ME AND NOW Blake's gone. He's gone and it's all my fault. I didn't even try to help him. And now he's gone. Gone and I don't even know where to start searching." Samantha wiped a tear falling down her cheek.
" I'll help you get back your brother. But, only if you trust me."
"I suppose. But how do I know you're not working for Morpheus?"
"You got out here. The spirit realm knows where to put who. And if it sent you here, it means that you can trust me. But you said that you the king was a shapeshifter. I know Chris, he is not a shapeshifter. What did you mean when you said that?"
"That the king's been abducted by Morpheus."
"B-B-But t-that's not p-p-possible. W-W-What d-did he want with C-C-C-Chris? Elsa stuttered.
"He wanted revenge. He wanted to curse the princess." Samantha told. Elsa sat in her chair, processing the information.
"Don't worry. Just stay away from him till you're sure he's the real king. I have no doubt that King Hydrafist will be able to find a way out of there." Samantha said, trying to comfort the distressed queen.
"Well if you're going to search for your brother, you should know a bit about this world."
"Yes. But I won't go without you."
"Of course not. So, to start there are eight kingdoms – Snowy Kingdom, Easter Isle Kingdom, Corner Kingdom, Kingdom of the Sun, Kingdom of the Moon, Nightmare territory, Fairy Empire and Trickster's Forest. The Snowy Kingdom is ruled by me and Jack, the Easter Isle Kingdom is ruled by Easter Bunny and Betty, Corner Kingdom is ruled by Santa, Mrs. Claus and Hanukkah Harry, the Kingdom of the Sun is ruled by Apollo and Aditi, the Kingdom of the Moon is ruled by Khonsu and Apollo's sister Artemis, Nightmare territory's ruler is not known, the Fairy Empire is ruled by Titania and Trickster's Forest is most dangerous as it doesn't have a ruler. All these kingdoms combines form the Guardian Alliance" said Elsa.
"Why are there two kings of the Corner Kingdom?" Samantha asked.
"There are two kings of the Corner kingdom as both the kings are guardians of one purpose. They need to work together for it so, Santa gladly gave half of his kingdom to Harry"
"Ok."
"There are twelve guardians in total. There is Athena, Apollo, Aditi, Easter Bunny, Betty, me, Khonsu, Artemis, Titania, Tooth Fairy, Sandman, Jack, Poseidon, Hades, Santa Claus and Hanukkah Harry. Athena is the guardian of wisdom, Apollo and Aditi are the guardians of the Sun, Easter Bunny and Betty are the guardians of Easter, Khonsu and Artemis are the guardians of the moon, I, Elsa, am the guardian of the Spirit Realm, Jack is the guardian of fun, Santa and Harry are the guardians of Myths and Mythology, Titania is the queen of fairies and has the highest word; if she makes a decision, it is final. Tooth is the head of the Guardian Alliance. Poseidon is the guardian of the seas; Sandman is the guardian of dreams and Hades is the Creator of Destruction. Any questions?" asked Elsa.
"Just one, how is Hades considered a guardian if he creates destruction?"
"You want to know about Hades; well, he was a guardian before he went to the dark side. He was the Defender of Peace. His only job was to make sure that chaos wouldn't spread all across Dreamanaria. Unfortunately, there was not much chaos being caused anywhere. He got angry because he thought that we were not putting his powers to much use so, he revolted. He started creating chaos and stopped helping us. He renounced his title as Defender of Peace to Creator of Destruction. He thought that I had the most important position and wanted to take it. He studied every book ever written and got to know that if one guardian has got a purpose, they have to serve that purpose till the end. He sent people to try and kill me but, that is when Jack came. He saved me and I married him." Elsa told.
"What about Morpheus?"
"Oh yes. He was enslaved by Hades when he was born. He was bred to be a lethal warrior. Ut Morpheus couldn't stand Hades. Soon, he formed an army and defeated Hades. We decided to give Morpheus Hades' spot in the alliance. On the day he was to join the alliance, all the royal families came to see him join. He was put through many tests and passed each of them with flying colors. But in the last one he was to be sent to the spirit realm and find a way out. He had one hour to do so. He was one minute late. When he came out, all he said was that Hades was still alive and that he was late because Hades was executing his revenge on Morpheus. We all thought him crazy and admitted that we had made a mistake thinking of adding to the alliance. Morpheus ran away that day. The next time he was seen, he was spreading nightmares all around Dreamanaria. We all defeated him and he was thrown into prison."
"Is that all I should know?"
"For now."
"What about Crystal?"
"What about her? She's coming with me no matter where I go."
It was now that Samantha thought to see Crystal. She looked at her blonde hair, very fair skin, red lips and pale blue eyes. She was wearing a cute, red, floral dress. She saw Elsa looking lovingly at Crystal too.
"When are we leaving?" asked Samantha.
"Now" saying this, Elsa snapped her fingers and the three of them were sitting in a royal carriage, on their way out of the Snowy Kingdom.
