The next morning was so cool with dark clouds covering the sky. It was the rainy season and the one season that Phoenix hated and loved at the same time. It would rain and become sunny the next minute.
She, who didn't have to leave for work today was sprawled on the medium sized bed covered up in a peach comforter. She occasionally let out low snoring sounds now and then. Her hair was covering her face with her right hand hugging a purple pillow.
Phoenix turned and tossed on the bed as she adjusted her position and went back to sleep. Oh how she enjoyed herself bundled up in her fluffy cotton blanket. She loved the feeling of sleeping till late morning.
After half an hour, she slowly opened her eyes, fixing her messy hair. She stretched herself while still undercover.
Stretching forth her hand, she picked her phone from the table next to her bed. Unlocking it, she wasn't surprised to not find any call or message. This has become part of her life, she was used to not be called by anyone except her family members.
Her mother and sister both were home so she didn't need to call anyone.
Lifting up her blanket, her white skin got exposed. She wasn't putting on anything at all except her pink cotton panties. This has become a habit that started when she was still young. She thought sleeping without her clothes on would make the other person not to leave her as that would make them become much closer.
Her sister Dinah was used to this and so was their mother Jane.
Phoenix stood up as she stretched her body. Her perky round bum, thick thighs, and wide curves were a sight to behold. Her only demerit as she always addressed it, was her small breasts. She was a grown woman but her twin deers were a bit small but she loved them as she didn't have to feel uncomfortable putting on multiple layers of clothing.
Her phone started ringing as she was doing her plank exercises. She moved forward to pick up the call. The mobile screen displayed a number she didn't know but looked kind of familiar.
She cleared her throat as she pressed the green icon on the screen.
" Hello."
" Good morning Miss Jay. You are speaking to Mr Green, am not sure if you still remember me."
" Mr Green.. Green, oh the butler right? Of course I remember you. Good morning to you too and how may I be of assistance?" She asked as she checked her wall clock.
They talked for a while before hanging up.
_ ' how and where did he get my mobile phone number. Did he hack my phone? Impossible, he seems like a noble man.'_
Deliberating for a while, she finally realised something.
_' oh! I have given him my name card. Well maybe mom is right, I need to get my brain checked.'_
_'So his Master wants therapy again, wasn't that about a week ago when I last visited him. Is he having headaches but it's too bad to rely on stimulating products, isn't it? Anyway I know what to do.'_
Since today was her day off and wasn't having any major plans, she decided to schedule his session today as tomorrow she was going out of the city.
Phoenix did her exercises, made up her bed and went to shower. She didn't take very long before she was done. Today she decided to put on comfortable pants and loose t- shirt. She loved the colour black so much and would make sure to put on something black or maroon.
Leaving her face clean from any make up, Phoenix braided her hair into a single French braid. She went out of her room once she was done, finding her mother and sister watching a morning reality show on the television. Greeting them, she went into the kitchen to make herself breakfast.
" Are you going somewhere sis, I remember it's your day off today." Probed Dinah.
" I have an important customer to tend to and since tomorrow I will be away, I scheduled that for today."
" Oh okay, thought you had a date with someone and speaking about that, sis when are you giving me a brother in-law, you will soon lose value." Added Dinah.
" Lose value? What are you talking about, I don't need to be valuable for me to have a partner, I just need to be myself."
" She is right Phoenix, when you grow up as a woman, you lose some of the charm you had when you were young. Let me tell you, your body changes and the chances of pregnancy lessen. I bet you know why, though some men will still want you it will be difficult my dear. So go out there and make mama proud. You have a nice smile, nice body and are you kind enough. Your height doesn't matter."
Biting her slice of bread, she couldn't help rolling her eyes. Her mother and sister were like a pair of a teacher and her student. They would share the same thoughts and always gang up against her but she enjoyed it. To her it was their own way of showing their love and care.
She ate her breakfast quickly as they made small talks.
" Am leaving, see you later. Mxuah mxuah." She sent them flying kisses as she stepped outside slinging her bag over her shoulder.
