After hours of torture, all was done. Jade was sweating profusely and his breathing was ragged.
Packing up her stuff and leftover products, Phoenix prepared to leave.
" Thank you for trusting in our services and if you are interested again in the future just hit the dial button and Jolly Jay will be at your service. So if there is nothing more to do I will be leaving and will leave the lavender oil for later use with your butler."
" The pleasure is mine Miss Jay" he politely replied.
After bidding each other goodbye they separated as Phoenix went to look for Butler Green.
Jade was left alone inside the huge room. The silence and loneliness slowly crept in as he had no one to chat with. His body still held the warmth from her hands but his heart was cold and void.
He touched his hand, this was the same hand Phoenix had held as she lead him towards the table. How he wished someone would show up and hold him tightly in their arms and tell him, ' all shall be well'.
## Downstairs ##
Phoenix picked up her handbag and the baskets after giving butler Green the instructions and the products. As they had already paid for the services, it didn't take long before she started walking towards the door.
Another car stopped by the gate before parking in the courtyard. From it alighted a tall pretty boy approximately in his mid twenties. He opened the car's backdoor as he carried out a white small box in his arms. Walking towards the house, he greeted a few servants along the way.
" Is my brother inside or at the back?" Asked the man as he passed the small box to one of the servants.
" Second young Master is in his bedroom."
" Okay, go place that in the refrigerator." He said that as he started walking towards the main door.
As he stretched his hand to open the door, it was quickly opened by someone from the inside. He froze, widening his eyes as he saw a not so tall lady coming from the house.
Phoenix eyed the man strangely before nodding in his direction.
_'am I scary'_ she asked herself as she went towards her car.
The pretty man stood rooted on the same spot.
_'just who was that, and she smelled of fragrant smells. Wait ... What is she doing in my brother's house?'_
Struggling with his thoughts, the young man entered into the house.
" Uhm.. who was that lady just now? Has my brother found someone...no. He rarely shows up so he wouldn't not have found one."
The butler stood at the side with a confused expression as the young man kept on muttering endlessly.
" She is a therapist, the massaging one and she came to render her services to your brother. Young Master, you shouldn't think too much."
" Think too much? Am only stating the possibilities and what's wrong with thinking too much? Anyway I shouldn't waste my precious time with you green hat." He sneered and laughed on his way upstairs.
He knocked when he stood before his brother's bedroom door and entered. Jade was seated on the rocking chair as he listened to the music from his stereo. Troy walked and took the seat next to him as he poured himself some of the wine placed on the side table.
Troy greeted his brother as he took a sip of the wine.
" How are the company matters? Is uncle giving you any pressure?" Asked Jade.
" It's pretty stable, dad is helping me so uncle is not a problem. I bet you are doing pretty good cause I passed a young lady by the entrance and she smelled of delicious and yummy fragrances."
" I needed to calm and relax my muscles at least once in a while so I ordered for a home spa service. Elder brother has already informed me about the dinner at the old house if that's why you are here."
" Are you seriously going bro cause if you don't feel like it then you aren't forced to. You are going to meet her and that is gonna hurt you even more. I will just tell grandpa that you can't make it if you decide not to go." Troy stopped as he took a deep breath and continued,
" You know uncle will be there too and our cousins. They will just make fun of your situation, do you want that. I mean your girlfriend left you for your own uncle after seeing your condition and you want to attend their homecoming party? You can't be...."
Before Troy could finish, Jade cut in.
" Then what do you suggest I do? Keep hiding away like a coward? She left me so what? I have heard enough Troy. I have enough of being trapped in this state. I have heard enough of always hiding from my problems. She left me after seeing how pathetic I became but do I need to always be pathetic and make her happy with her decision of leaving. I am tired... I.. I am..so..so..tired of ..all this." Jade fired up as he became choked up.
Ever since his accident, Jade became very emotional. Troy wanted to comfort his brother but had no words. He just stood up and tightly hugged him.
" It's alright bro. Am sorry for what I said. I will prepare the clothes in advance." He too teared up as he saw the vibrations of his brothers chest and shoulders.
His brother Jade was always his pillar in the past but now it seemed as if the roles swapped. Jade may have been in the military but that didn't change the fact that he was still a human with emotions. He was broken into pieces and needed someone to mend them together.
