Cecilia's POV

Cecilia puts down the menu. "Are you sure he will come?" Cecilia taping her feet. Julia, who sat next to her, calmed her wife, then she kissed her forehead.

"Everything will be okay, babe. Trust me." Julia said. Cecilia's heart was unsure about this meeting, but she knows her wife.

She wants to go home, but it's her request. She can't make her wife's loyalty to the gang worse. Cecilia grip Julia's jacket tight. "E-everything will be okay, right?" Cecilia lifts her head.

It's her first to meet a real-life criminal. "That's my questions years ago, babe" Julia holds Cecilia's hand. "When I met my first client, with Giusto, I felt the same as you." She said as she reminiscing her memories with him.

"Speaking of which, I haven't heard him since. Where's he is now?" Cecilia asked her.

Julia put her glass on the table, then she looked at her surrounding, "I will tell you after this, I promise." A man approached her with a flipping newspaper, then she hand him the book.

"New York, it's beautiful. I don't know that place was exist." Cecilia can hear Julia's sigh.

"Don't forget to turn on the AC while the heat attack you," he leaves the newspaper on the table, then leave them.

Cecilia furrowed her brow as she played with Julia's fingers. "It's done?" Julia hummed.

The duo leaving after the stranger earlier with a newspaper in their hand. "Hey, man! You forgot your newspaper!" Julia yelled to the man earlier. The man raised his hand, then he gets in his car and drive away.

Cecilia furrowed her brow because she did not get it where she in the situation was. "Let's go home," Julia said.

Cecilia press on her palm, "i-it's that is? No gun fight, or… k-killing each other?" Cecilia blinked her eyes several times. Julia shook her head, then took a deep breath.

"No, babe. It's only for a big transaction, gone wrong. When I was a capos, I had once, and after that I will never did it again." Julia opened the door for her. Cecilia fights with her thoughts. What she will do next? She shook her head to get rid of her thoughts about getting killed.

"Where were we going?" Cecilia asked.

Julia took a glance at her wife. "What do you think we're going?" Cecilia humming while she rubbing her chin.

Sometimes, she can't predict her wife for more, but she likes the challenge. Julia is the most mysterious person she ever met. Cecilia never has difficulties to predict someone's, but her wife was different.

There's something blocked her mind and soul. She will not like it. "Home?" She raised her eyebrow.

Julia mimicking the sound of the bell. "Ding… ding… you're right!" Cecilia sighed, "what's wrong babe? You sound bored." Julia took a glance, then she pulled over.

None of them speak, and temperature inside the car dropped, as they didn't talk to each other.

Julia's POV

Julia cleared her throat to break the ice. "About Giusto, Marcello, and Mr. Anderson, right?" Cecilia nods her head. Julia leaned on the seat. She turned off the engine because the air inside their car's temperature chills her bone.

"Where-" Julia cuts Cecilia's word with her finger on her lips.

"Shh…" Julia looking into Cecilia's eyes, "I know what you want to ask." Cecilia bewitched by her silvery tone. As if a spell to shut her tongue and voice. Julia took a deep breath, then exhale.

Cecilia's POV

"I killed three of them," Julia said to the point. Cecilia wants to reassure her wife, but Julia stopped it. She grabbed her hand, then put her hand on her cheek. "I have a reason for that," for Cecilia, you killed someone it same you commit a crime.

Cecilia wants to slap her wife's cheek, but it's like something is wrong with her hand. She demands more explanation from her wife. "Why did you do that?" Cecilia's voice crack.

She can feel Julia's tears down on her face. Cecilia wiped her tears. "They a-are a thread to your family," she knows Julia was lying, but for who? She hates lies, but why she can't be mad at her like she did at Rico? Or is the truth behind she murdered three of them?

"When did you kill them?" Cecilia reassuring her wife and let her cry. Julia embrace her wife as she cried. Cecilia wants an answer from her wife, but she keeps crying and crying. "I guess my Nonna involved, right?" Julia did not answer her questions.

She can guess everyone answer only by reading their mind, but her wife, even she can't predict what's going on. Cecilia let go of her embrace, then she cupped her cheek, then she wiped her tears.

Cecilia can't leave her alone. She already promises to stand by her side, but this situation getting uglier than ever. Cecilia sighed as she wiped her tears. She never expected that Julia will confess it to her. In other hand, her bravery to admit something wrong, she appreciates it, but sometimes her bravery led her into trouble.

Cecilia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "What if tonight we spending time at my Nonna's? I miss them." She brushed her short-wavy hair until she calmed. Julia was an ordinary human.

Julia did not answer her. She only hears her sobbing. Cecilia wiped her tears. Is that difficult to carry Salvatore's name? Cecilia pondered what she will do next? Should she leave her? No, she shouldn't. She shook her head to get rid of her negative thoughts about leaving her.

They were already under the oath in front of the God. She can't leave her until death separated them. "Julia, listen to me!" Cecilia wiped her tears. "Whatever you did, please, from now on, try not to kill other people. You can kill people if it's my command. Promise me!" Cecilia touched her cheek. "I don't want to lose you, Julia. I want waiting for you, but for how long!?" Cecilia embrace her wife.

Inside her heart, she wants Julia retired from the underworld and start a new life somewhere they can find peace and forget the past, but Julia carried her family's name. Salvatore. She is the one who will take the crown and replace her past Don's duties, and so their child.

Julia wiped her tears and tangled her pinky fingers. Cecilia took a deep breath, then exhale. What she said earlier it was stupid. From now on, Julia will make her consiglier, but if it's for her, she will take it no matter what.
