Dark clouds filled the sky as an ominous and mysterious pressure filled the surroundings, dark miasma shrouded Hendrix's body as the landscape started to change shape.
Before anyone could notice the ground beneath their feet was filled with a sea of blood as what seemed like countless number of corpses contaminated the sea.
However, despite being corpses, their hollow eyes gleamed with a piercingly cold light as though they were alive. Their killing intent was directed towards the outsiders who had entered their homes.
And once they had sensed the aura of the living from the gods, their empty eyes gleamed viciously with not so friendly intentions. Those eyes were cursing the living.
Caia looked apprehensively at her surrounding with caution in her beautiful crimson eyes. 'Th-this... Is this a domain type technique?' She wondered internally.
Domain techniques were special techniques that had space magic implemented within them, once the spell is cast those trapped within the 'Domain' would be completely under the influence of whoever cast the spell, the caster would literally be the god of whatever domain they ruled.
However, due to their difficulties and high energy consumption, it was generally difficult to cast a domain spell for very long, especially an absurd one such as this.
'This is bad, we need to get out of here. In this place he has absolute authority, his dominance will be even greater than when we were outside.' Caia contemplated many ways they could escape but ultimately heaved a sigh, breaking free from a domain was not something one can achieve simply by putting all their effort into it.
As far as she knew, there had never been someone who had successfully escape a domain before, and that's even if that person was a God.
Though it would be a different story if that god had absolute authority over space and dimensions, like the god of space, but unfortunately none of them could manipulate space in this place aside Hendrix.
"Welcome to my territory, here you shall join these fellows and become another corpse among my many collections." Hendrix stated calmly, at that Caia and Maverick, both braced themselves, now that they were trapped within the domain of the god of death. They couldn't let their guard down.
"Hendrix today you die!" Caia exclaimed; her delicate body was covered in a cloak of blue flames but- "!!!" Before she could move forward, she felt a cold hand touching her ankle, looking down she saw a hand came out of the sea of blood grabbing her leg.
One by one many hands came out grabbing her legs and even her hands which were at her waist attempting to pull her under the bloody water, she tried moving and pulling but, no matter how much she tried she couldn't break free!
"Tch, what kind of domain is this?" Maverick questioned; his body was also being dragged into the bloody water! Many undead could be seen coming out of the surface of the water with lifeless eyes. It was difficult to use his gravity manipulation in his current situation.
Since he couldn't move too freely as his legs were being held by the many undead, using his gravity manipulation in this situation would only drag his body down along with them.
"Ahaha! Why are you resisting? Just except your fate, from the moment you entered my domain you were destined to die." Hendrix commented. "Meteor!" Caia calmly muttered.
As soon as those words were uttered a magic formation appeared above the sky, as a torrent of bright blue flames appeared. Slowly the blue flames condensed, and the blue flames took the shape of a meteor! Measuring a diameter of 30 cm standing above their head.
Seeing this Hendrix raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure you want to do that?" Hendrix questioned, as a smirk appeared on his face. "Hmph, what are you talking about?" Caia asked dubiously, she was still trying to break free from the hold of the many undead but, she was finding it difficult. No matter how much she struggled no matter how hot her flames burn they wouldn't let go.
Annoyance was now visible on her beautiful face! "Gravity times ten!" Maverick exclaimed at that a heavy pressure descended on the surrounding, causing the bloody water to ripple roughly as undead bodies were being crushed beneath the heavy weight!
Swoosh!
The meteorite slowly descended downwards at high speed as the atmosphere becomes slightly warmer. But Hendrix smirk and slowly he turned to look at Alina behind him, feeling his gaze she nodded her head and white light gathered behind her back, taking the shape of two angelic wings.
Spreading her wings wide she took to the skies and gathered distance between herself and the God's and goddess. Seeing that she was no longer in any danger Hendrix's lips curved upwards.
The meteorite reached an altitude of 20 meters and was slowly closing the distance at a rapid speed but, even then Hendrix showed no changed of his usual calm expression. This was his domain he had absolute influence and dominance here! In this place he was the only true God!
"Counter!" He muttered, and as though time had gone in reverse, dark aura gathered before him taking the shape of a meteorite measuring 30 meters in diameters wide.
His meteorite was completely pitch black and had small shades of red!
The black and red meteorite soon collided with the deep blue meteorite and subsequently after a loud explosion took place in the sky!
BOOOOOOOOOM!!
SPLASH!!
The water undulated roughly as giant waves of twenty meters were rose up from the sea of blood.
Both the goddess of fire and God of gravity were washed away and carried by the heavy waves! Meanwhile, a silver-haired man dressed in a robe could be seen hovering above the surface of the rippling waves.
His expression looked bored as he rested the blade of his sword over his shoulder.
"It's about time to end this. I can at least promise your divinities will be put to good use." Hendrix said lazily.
****
Booom!!!
Meanwhile as Hendrix was confronting the goddess of flame and God of gravity, Lincoln and the God of earth were still locked in a fierce battle.
The two moved at high-speed, exchanging blows with their weapons. However, the battle was almost nearing its end. Lincoln's body was covered with bloody wounds, as his armor had various cracks and dent along ths surface. Sweat could be seen on his handsome face. Meanwhile, the God of earth hadn't taken any significant damage so for.
"Haah... haaah." Lincoln breathes heavily as he used his sword to support his weight. "Why are you going so far for that piece of Shit?" The god of earth questioned, as he raised his giant hammer over his shoulders without much effort.
Hearing someone call his master 'Piece of shit' Lincoln furrowed his brow in displeasure. "Forgive my impudent but, may I ask that you do not insult my master." Lincoln said in a bitter tone. He had always respected the gods and goddesses but, he refused to ignore someone talking badly about his creator.
Especially when that 'someone' was standing directly before him, under normal circumstances he would've already cut down the one who dares to insult his creator.
But that wasn't something he could do to a god, especially one as strong as the god of earth. "Sigh, my chance of winning this is rather slim." He muttered in a near inaudible voice however, thanks to the god of earth's superior hearing he heard him perfectly.
"Why do you look so upset? Did you think you would actually win? Why don't you give up or, you'll die because of that fool's arrogance." The god of earth said in a tone as though he was speaking facts. Lincoln clutched his sword tightly as he narrowed his eyes.
"Put down your weapons and I, the God of earth, promise that you will not die." He further said. "I appreciate your kind offer but, my life belongs to my master and creator.... whether I live or die is decided by him. As long as he wishes for war then..." Lincoln held his sword in a firm stance as he stated. "Then war it shall be!" At that his sword began emitting a bright glow as he swung his sword vertically.
"!!"
At that a bright light was released from the blade of his sword mowing down everything within a straight Line. "Sigh, how very disappointing." The god of earth muttered, shaking his head as though he was really disappointed with his choice.
Seeing the incoming light slowly approaching him from the front the god of earth, Charles swung his giant hammer with great force!
Instantly the soil beneath their feet was upturned and the ground undulated creating many new structures in its place!
BOOOOOOM!!
The two attacks met from the front resulting in the sound of a loud explosion!
Swoosh!
Lincoln swiftly moved through the cloud of dust, gradually closing in on the god of earth while using the debris to obscure his presence. Furthermore, he used wind magic to silence the sound of his footsteps as he approached.
Bang!
With the loud sound of his blade crashing against Charles's hammer. A deafening sound erupted from the impact as Lincoln was forced back from the shockwave.
BOOOOM!
A palm made entirely from shadow emerged from beneath his feet, landing a perfectly times uppercut onto Charles chin, "... Ngh." Charles's face grimaced as his body was sent flying from the forced.
"Tch, a user of shadow! You think your weak shadow manipulation can hinder me! You foolish mortals! Get out of my sight!" Charles exclaimed; anger apparent on his face.
With a heavy stomp on his feet, there was the sound of a tremor! The earth split and broke apart beneath their feet. Countless mountains which stood tall several hundred kilometers away crumbled and changed shape.
Seeing this Lincoln raised his vigilance, and conjured a sword made from light, holding both swords firmly, he released a slash of light and darkness!
Swoosh!
The slash took the shape of a cross as it closed the distance, closing in on Charles from the front. However, towards the attack of his opponent, Charles snorted, as the form of his hammer took the shape of a axe.
"I shall show you the mountain you have chosen to climb is an insurmountable one." He commented, swinging his axe in a wide horizontal slash.
The slash of light and darkness was cut in two halves, from his swing, however—
"You shouldn't underestimate me, god of earth." Lincoln's indifferent voice fell into his ears as the sword of light stabbed into his back. Unfortunately, the blade was unable to penetrate into his flesh.
Seeing that Lincoln furrowed his brow. "Hmph, you think that weak sword can pierce into my flesh, such stupidity!" Charles exclaimed, extending his hand towards Lincoln's neck. Fortunately, he used teleportation to get out of his reach, appearing a few meters away.
'My blade won't be able to pierce into his skin that easily, my chances of winning seem further out of reach.' Cold sweats slid down his brow as he thought that.
With his enemy being such a monster Lincoln felt truly helpless about the situation.
But was he willing to give in because of this feeling?
... Of course not!
Despite how low, nonexistent his chances of winning are, his strong, firm grip on the blade of his sword never wavered. His emerald eyes shone fiercely as he searched for an opening in his opponent's defense.
Seeing him like that the god of earth, Charles only glared at him with indifference. If there was one thing he couldn't tolerate, that was disrespectful vermin who doesn't understand their place.
"... Fine. If this is what you wish, then no more mercy! An existence such as yourself shouldn't even be turning their blade against a god." Charles uttered, not hiding his disdain.
If his enemies were foolish enough to think they could win, he had no reason to spare their filthy lives, such beings were better off crushed beneath his divine hammer.
Lincoln used magic to enhance his speed, each time he moved, the earth beneath his feet exploded as dirt was sent flying in all directions!
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Charles stood still as he observed Lincoln's figure which kept disappearing and reappearing in different directions. "Hmph, you were no match for me with strength, do you think you stand a chance with speed?" Charles snorted.
Lincoln appeared behind him, swinging his sword vertically. However, as though he had predicted that much, Charles turned his body around, swinging his axe horizontally.
A fierce shockwave erupted from the point of collision!
"Tsk, this wasn't enough." Lincoln mumbled, soon his figure disappeared once again. This time he circled to Charles's side, swinging his sword once again.
"... I keep telling you, it's useless." Charles uttered, coldly. He had blocked the blade of the sword using his hand. Then without missing a beat, he raised his leg, landing a perfectly timed knee strike into his chest, the breast plate of his armor caved in as the sound of shattered fragment sounded.
Lincoln's face twisted in pain as all the air was forced out of his lungs, the force sent his body skyward!
Bang!
However, before Lincoln had time to adjust himself, Charles's leg fell into his back, sending him Plummeting towards the ground.
BOOOOOOOM!
As Charles landed smoothly onto the soil. He observed the battered state of Lincoln who laid in the center of a large crater.
The heavy footsteps of Charles resounded as he approaches. "As good as a punching bag you make, I have no interest in fighting someone so weak." He spat.
Lincoln clenched his fist as he struggled to his feet. His entire body was in pain, but he kept an indifferent expression on his face as he grasps his sword.
"As expected, fighting a god while limiting myself isn't ideal... I'll have to use all of my trump card." Lincoln said those words while pointing the blade of his sword towards Charles.
