King Stefan seemed to have suspected Inara or maybe he was giving a general warning to the members of his court.
The next morning, Prince Rand had already recuperated and was on his feet. He seemed to be more worried about me than feeling betrayed about my actions. No matter what his father said, he never listened. He believed I had my reasons to poison him.
"I have every reason to believe you are an ally of that snake, but I also have every reason to believe your rat brain would never be able to execute such a plan." King Stefan said looking at Prince Rand sternly.
"If this is a way of trying to find out if I did help her, you said it yourself, father. I have a rat brain and why would I even risk my life to help her?" Rand said.
