"Search for him! I shouldn't need to tell you how valuable he is for our plan's final stages!" A man with a black and yellow robe, covering his white suit shouted as he repeatedly baganed his fist onto a table.
"Calm yourself sir, we will find him. And there's no need to stress the importance of Larry's son, we all understand that he could be key to achieving man-made magic by using technology." Another man spoke, but his voice was full of disdain when he said Larry's name.
"If you all understand his importance, then why on Earth are you still here?!" The man said as he stood up angrily from his chair. And that was all everyone surrounding the table needed as their que to depart.

"What's that smell?"
"What just touched my foot?"
"AH! I think something's crawling in my ear!" As I concluded, I instinctively pushed open the top of the trash can, and after a few tries of getting it to stay open I made my exit.
"What time is it?" I said looking directly up at the sky, and after confirming that it was night, I opened my quests tab. After noticing that I haven't completed my daily tasks, I got down and completed my pushups.

"This thing sure is a piece of work, but it's right, I've got one more task to go." I said as my expression turned grim after I remembered the task.
"How will I complete the other task?" Just then, I remember the feeling of the thing that touched my foot.
"No way, there's no way I'm eating that thing!"

"I hope this punishment for not completing these tasks is worth eating dumpster animals!" I said as I jumped back into the dumpster this time with the lid open. After searching around through the trash, I found two dead rats.
"They must have been killed by someone throwing trash on them, or at least I hope so." I uttered before placing the tail into my mouth. As I bit down onto the tail, the rough texture left me wanting for more.
"Is this system trying to train me the same way people train dogs?" I thought before I devoured the rat's lower half, its hair only added to the flavors. Once both rats were digesting, I received another notification.

"Finally peace and quiet…wait, I should probably get home before uncle and auntie get worried. Speaking of people I barely know, who's the Nora girl? Wait, she's probably around the ages of eight, so I won't really find an address."
"No, what am I thinking, I should just ask uncle. Then again If I tell him too much or get too comfortable around him, he just may try and gut me like those kids. I should really stop talking, my breath smells bad, must have been those rats."
Just then like everyone in the city, I could smell three people approaching me from..ABOVE! I then rolled over to my left, away from the dumpster. And just like that three people had descended from the rooftops and trapped me inside of the dead end alleyway.
"Let's make this quick, since we can't afford to anger the higher-ups and take him alive!" A bald man dressed in all black with a small golden fist on his chest shouted over to his two goons. And while my eyes were away on him the other two threw down some sort of smoke bomb.
Needless to say the smoke covered the entire alley way.
Unlike the events before, this time, I'm up against skilled members of the Golden. I could try and run away but, I bet the amount of Ki I could get from these guys would be amazing.
Just then I could smell the Golden members coming at me from my left, right, and above me, just how am I supposed to take on three highly skilled people with great teamwork?!
Ever Since my encounter with a magical beast I've been able to tell a huge difference in their and human smell. The one beast is more like a hot swewer where humans give off a nice and fresh fragrance.
However, as I was saying, oh, Greed is an evil thing!
Then before I knew it the member above me crashed both his hands down on my head, almost making me lose my cousioness, however during that tiny time frame, a message popped up.

After quickly thinking of accepting, I could soon feel the Ki leaving the man's body and slowly empowering me, however my draining speed is still low so I only managed to absorb a fourth of the man's total Ki.

After recovering from the blow, both of the other men stood above me. While their leader was further back towards the alley's entrance, in great shock. Just before he was about to shout another word, I quickly lifted up the men's pants covering their legs and once again activated Ki Drain.
"Don't let him touch you, he has some sort of Ki draining effect!" Their leader shouted before he got in a fixed position on the ground and began trying to accumulate Ki, however this time he found that he couldn't reach his maximum storage like he once could. He was now missing a fourth of his maxim Ki!
While the other men had their heads turned staring at their leader, I had already begun absorbing their Ki, and when they returned their gazes to me I had already stolen all of one's Ki and half of the others.
I also found that I could increase the speed in which I stole Ki by focusing more on the feeling of the new arriving Ki.

Once again I forced myself to ignore the system's antics.
Then before the man with half of his Ki remaining tried to stomp on my arm, I swiftly rolled to the side of the other man. And after a few seconds had past, I delivered a strong upper cut to his crotch area while he was a bit dazed by my power, I then stood up and used his body as a shield from his partner's incoming jab.
I tried my best to position his head in front of the attack. Then something I would have never imagined happened, the man's head flew cleanly off his body.
"HOW DARE YOU!"
"YOU KILLED ANDREW!" The man said after the head landed on the ground and made a loud thud sound for everyone in the alley to hear.
"No, not me, I would never, you killed Andrew!" I said, trying to further enrage the man, with a bit of disdain in my voice for the name of the fallen Golden Member.
"You have no right to say his name!" The man said just before I threw the lifeless corps towards him and pulled out the pocketknife I had obtained from that boy from before.
Although, not everything always goes as planned…
The team's leader swung a pair of Nunchucks at me, and I stupidly tried to match them with my pitful weapon. Needless to say, the Golden member won, and I suffered a great blow to the shoulder.
