In the center of our world stood a tree. A tree that reached up into the heavens and looked down upon us. That tree was The World Tree, a divine tree that had been around longer than anyone could truly remember.
Some of the oldest relics of the past even made connections with the tree but even then, the tree was still as tall as it is now.
Though the tree's size was definitely impressive, that wasn't what attracted adventurers to its front door. No, that would be the rumored reward for getting to the top of the tree first. Rumor had it that the reward for it was getting anything you wished for, that being a new sword or becoming a king.
There was a catch to this dungeon though. Once you entered the dungeon, you could not leave the dungeon. Multiple people had tried to leave but they mentioned some invisible barrier keeping them in.
At the age of seventeen, my older brother entered the tree in hopes of receiving his own wish. After waiting four years, I myself began my journey towards the tree. My mission: cure the drought that had been plaguing my village for years now. With my destination set, this was the beginning of my journey.
