"Just two more and we are done here…'' The photographer said and Lucia rolled her eyes. She smiled and nodded.
"Good! You are a professional, Miss Lucia.'' The photographer took the last shots and smiled. "We are done!''
Lucia stood up from the chair and Martin walked over with a trench coat. He covered her body up with it and walked with to the photographer's table.
"The pictures came out well. I must say you are really doing well.'' The Photographer was pleased with the outcome of the photos he took and complimented Lucia for her professionalism.
"I knew Miss Lucia was the right person to be our company's ambassador. Apart from being professional, she is beautiful and pleasing to the eye.'' The CEO of Gud Fashion said as he stood next to Lucia. He was the one who specifically picked Lucia amongst the many people that his company picked for consideration as ambassadors.
When he got closer to Lucia, he stretched his hand sneakily and tried to touch Lucia's waist but Martin held his hand and gave him a cold glare which deterred him away.
"We are done here, right? If then, I should be on my way!'' Lucia turned to the photographer and asked.
"Yes, we are done!'' The photographer replied.
"Miss Lucia, I reserved a table at Eve Dinner. We can have a meal and talk more about a few other things…'' Mr. Gudson said and rubbed his hand over Lucia's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Gudson but I have another appointment. Maybe next time.'' Lucia replied and held Martin's hand.
"Let's go!'' Martin said to Lucia.
Mr. Gudson looked at them as they walked out of the place. He turned to the photographer and said to him. 'Send all the photos to me and call Lucia. Make her redo the shoot all over.''
"Again? But that will be expensive.'' The photographer argued.
"I will take care of that. But this time, we will do it my way.'' Mr. Gudson said with a creepy smile.
"Yes, sir!''
"That man is so creepy. What is wrong with him?'' Lucia said as she sat in the car with Martin.
"Do you want me to take care of him?'' Martin asked.
"No! You can't be using magic or whatever on him. he is human. In any case, I will handle him. I know what I should do.'' Lucia picked her phone and saw Alison's missed call.
"Alison called me!'' She muttered.
"You really care about that human girl. Sometimes I feel that you still trust humans a lot even after what they did to you.''
"Alison is different. I've known her for the past ten years and she has never taken advantage of me. even though she knows what I am, she doesn't treat me any different.''
"She is the bride of Walden, right? Does that mean she will later become one of us?'' Martin started the car.
"That is unlikely to happen because Walden wants to take her soul away. The only way she will become one of us is if she sleeps with him but that will never happen. Walden only cares about the soul. He doesn't care about no human girl.''
"But, won't she die if he takes away the soul? I mean, that is what is keeping her alive, right?''
"You are right! I'm going to catch some sleep. Wake me up when we get home.'' Lucia leaned back and closed her eyes and sighed.
…..
"That demon! How dare he try to scare me?'' Alison hit her hand on the carte and cussed. Just thinking about Walden's rude behavior towards her made her angry.
"I better not see him again or I am beating him up.'' Alison muttered and hit the shelf and the apples fell off.
"Who are you beating up, little Miss?'' Liam squatted and picked the apple and looked at Alison.
Alison flushed and stood up. She looked at Liam as he placed the apple back and turned to face her.
"You look angry. I was wondering which idiot made a beautiful woman like you angry?'' Liam asked.
Alison looked at him awkwardly and said. "Nothing, thanks for that…''
"Hi, I am Liam!'' Liam said stretching his hand forth.
"I…'' Alison hesitated. She didn't know him but she felt that he was oddly familiar.
"Your name?'' Liam asked again.
"I am Alison!''
"Alison, beautiful name. Came to get grocery?'' Liam turned and picked a pack of cucumber and placed it in his own carte.
"Yeah, obviously. I wouldn't be here for something else, right?'' Alison replied and picked a few things into her carte.
"Do you have a boyfriend?''
"That's rather straightforward!''
Liam smiled and turned to face Alison. "You are a beautiful woman. Just wanted to know whether I have a chance or not.''
Alison smiled awkwardly and pulled her carte away. Liam followed her and they stopped in front of a table of broccoli and other vegetables.
"Broccoli is very good for eye health and hormonal balance. Very good diet for women!'' Liam said and picked one for Alison.
"I don't like broccoli. I hate the taste of it.'' Alison said and placed the broccoli back on the table. She held her carte and turned.
"Alison!'' Liam called.
Alison turned. "Can I help you with anything?''
"Is this the first time we are meeting? Are you sure you don't know me?'' Liam walked closer.
"No, I don't know you anywhere and this is the first time I am seeing you. Now, if you will excuse me!''
"That man messed with your brain. You need to be careful, Alison. Don't trust him too much. He wants the same thing I want but I am a better option because I actually want you.''
"What are you talking about?'' Alison asked with a confused gaze.
"Alison…'' Lucia called and walked towards them.
Liam turned to look at Lucia and smirked. "Look who we have here?'' Liam commented.
"Liam, didn't Walden warn you to stay away from Alison?'' Lucia asked and stood in front of Alison.
"How long are you going to protect her? Sooner or later, she has to choose between me and Walden. Unlike Walden, I actually feel that she is a really nice person that is worth giving a chance. Walden just wants her soul but I want her plus her soul. Isn't that quite touching?''
"What is he talking about, Lucia? Who is Walden?'' Alison asked.
