Chapter 374 - To rest

"Kiss me" said Wura as she held Mero's face closer to her forcibly.

Mero did not want to push her away since he knew that she was drunk, but she was just too close to his face.

"My Queen, you are mistaken, I am not Liam" said Mero as Wura was breathing heavily.

"You are lying, you do not think that I know my husband, I *hiccup* know him very well" said Wura as she closed her eyes feeling even more dizzy.

"My Queen, I am not lying, I am not Liam, I am Mero" said Mero as Wura was trying to kiss him and she giggled.

"Oh I do not care, just kiss me, I need you to kiss me Mero" said Wura with a giggle as Mero knew that she was seriously drunk, he removed her hands from his face as he was about to walk away when Wura held on to him.

"How dare you, trying to run away from me Mero?" asked Wura as she held him tightly.

"My Queen, you are drunk" said Mero.

"I *hiccup* I do not care if I am drunk, just kiss me!" said Wura.

"My Queen, you need to rest" said Mero as he was uncomfortable with the way Wura was caressing his hand.

"I am your Queen, and as your Queen, I order you to kiss me" said Wura as she stood on the bed and threw herself on Mero as cupped his face.

"Just kiss me, I do not care about anything, kiss me" said Wura as Mero carried her and put her back on the bed, he took the sheets and tied her hands with them and then tied it to the best post.

"What a man you are, untie me at once, I am going to make you pay" said Wura as she squirmed and tried to untie herself.

"My Queen, you need to rest" said Mero as he covered Wura with the blanket and she started to cry.

"It is not fair, not fair at all" said Wura as she cried and Mero sighed, he needed to call someone to help him, because right now, he did not know what do in this type of situation.

Mero turned a blind ear to Wura's cries as he walked out of the room leaving her to go get help from the only person who he knew could help Wura right now.

Mero walked through the empty halls as he stopped in front of a door and he knocked on the door as he waited for a reply.

Mero knocked again as this time he heard sounds of footsteps and bumping into objects as Nora walked to the door and opened it.

"Mero??" asked Nora in confusion as she yawned and rubbed her eyes as she saw Mero standing in front of her door.

"Nora, I need your help" said Mero.

"Mero, it is late, very late" said Nora as she yawned.

"It is about her Majesty" said Mero as Nora seemed to wake up when she heard that.

"What about her Majesty?" asked Nora as she did not even wait for Mero to say any thing more as she quickly closed the door to her room as she rushed and Mero followed after her.

"What happened to her Majesty?" asked Nora as she knew that this had to be something very serious for Mero to come and call her at this time of the night.

"Her Majesty came to the knight's summer festival, and she drank" said Mero.

"What??" asked Nora in shock.

"She had too much to drink and she got drunk, and now she is hysterical" said Mero.

"Why in the world would you let her drink in the first place?" asked Nora as Mero followed after her.

"She was the one who insisted on it, none of us could stop her" said Mero as Nora sighed and she shook her head, she could only imagine how bad it was for Mero to have to come and call her for help.

"Mero, you should have stopped her regardless" said Nora.

"I tried, but you of all people know how stubborn her majesty is" said Mero as Nora reached Liam's room in no time.

"Stay here, I will see what I can do" said Nora as she turned to look a Mero and he nodded as she turned around and entered into the room.

"My Queen" called Nora softly as she walked into the room and she received no reply.

"My Queen" called Nora again as she walked closer to the bed and she saw Wura fast asleep peacefully as her breathing was steady and there were residues of tears on her face.

"Oh my Queen" said Nora with a sigh as she was relieved that Wura was sleeping now.

Nora frowned when she saw that Wura's hands were tied, she shook her head and began to untie the bedsheets as she tucked Wura in carefully and walked out of the room.

"How is she?" asked Mero.

"Sleeping peacefully" said Nora as Mero sighed in relief.

"You tied her hands to the bedpost?" asked Nora in disbelief.

"She was not acting in the right frame of mind, if I did not do that, then she would not be sleeping right now" said Mero as Nora sighed.

"You should have been more tender, it was not her fault, she was under the influence of a drink which you were supposed to stop her from drinking" said Nora.

"Nora, you of all people should know that when she sets her mind to something, nothing or no one can change it" said Mero.

"You were too rough with her, she was crying" said Nora.

"I was not, she was crying because she was thinking about Liam" said Mero.

"I know that she has been suffering silently, but drinking would not solve all the bad feelings that she feels" said Nora with a sigh as Mero agreed with her.

"It Is late, we should go to sleep now, I am sure her Majesty will wake up feeling terrible if she drank to the extent of getting drunk" said Nora.

"That she will, she drank mead" said Mero.

"Oh my, mead is too sweet, no wonder she got so drunk, why could you not have given her something bitter to stop her from drinking?" asked Nora.

"Tell that to Elihu" said Mero as Nora sighed.

"Goodnight Nora" said Mero.

"Goodnight" replied Nora as she walked back into the room, she was going to stay by Wura just in case she woke up and needed anything.

"Goodnight my Queen, please rest well" said Nora as she sighed.

The Sky was dark and the half moon was shining as the sound of a horse galloping could be heard in a distance under the midnight sky.

The horse neighed as it came to a stop and the rider dismounted from the horse as he let it go.

The man removed the hood of the cloak covering his head as he stood in front of a mighty wooden gate locked with black chains.

Liam looked around as he looked up at the half moon and sighed, he had no time to waste, he walked to the gate as she shook it, the gate was heavy and tall, he could not climb out of it, and there was no one here in sight.

Liam removed his sword from its sheath as he raised it up and in one swift motion cut through the chains as they broke and the gate was loosed.

Liam opened the gate as he walked through the gate and stood in front of a old looking house, he saw a lit torch on a pole as he took it and held it in his free hand.

Liam walked to the door as he kicked it down, the house was dark and empty, it looked as if it had been uninhabited for a while.

Liam walked through the house checking every room as he was looking for something.

Liam kicked down the door of each room as he held his sword tightly in his hand.

Liam narrowed his eyes when he heard strange noises and he found himself faced with a door that was locked with a mighty, heavy chain.

"This should be it" said Liam to himself as he looked at the door and without giving it any other thought he dropped the torch on the ground and cut through the chain as it fell to the ground.

"Now would be a good time to stop me" said Liam as he shouted and he looked around.

"Do it now, I want no wasted efforts" said Liam seriously as it sounded like he was speaking to himself, but he knew that he was not, he was sure that they were listening to him somewhere.

"Fine, I asked you, and I waited for you, I do not want you to try to play any silly sport with me, I am not going to take it, so leave me and Wura alone!" said Liam angrily as he walked to the door, he opened it and walked right through it, not wasting any time at all.
